Cam hardly get chance to develop himself in games. His talent is obvious. Ime never trust Cam and Reed.

I think the Rockets need to go through this and see -

    A. That Fred isn’t the answer at PG

    B. Who do we need to focus offensive system around (JG or Alpi) the mixture isn’t working

    C. What to do with DB - is it time to move on

Warriors are exposing a lot about the Rockets as currently configured and also exposing a lot about Ime.

We have a 40% catch and shoot 3pt shooter sitting in bench in Holiday while Fred is playing 40+ min

With Post in the lineup, Draymond did not have to start on Sengun. He could be a deadly help defender. Amen and Brooks weren't able to do much either. That was a nice lineup adjustment by Kerr.

Gotta find some fresh ideas to extend this series.

We are the opposite of the Lakers. The Lakers have two superstar #1 options and a very weak bench. They had 4 guys playing more than 40 minutes in a loss to the Wolves.

The Rockets have no superstar #1 option but a very deep bench. There is no reason for any player on our team to play significantly more than 35 minutes. And there is no reason to limit the rotation to 8 guys. This is especially true if we intend to play high intensity defense that requires a high level of energy.

I don't really care about who starts. I think it's more about who play how much and whose roles fit well matching up against Golden State.

I think the change has to be defensively, we're letting other guys beat us AND Curry, it can't be both.

There is no purpose to doubling Curry if he's still getting 30+ points lol. May as well just defend him man up and make sure other randos are not getting random open shots that of course they can hit and try to force Curry to beat us by himself.

If we had defended Curry man up Gary Payton isn't open so often at the end of the game, maybe Curry beats us man up, but honestly Curry hitting some BS shot falling backwards is better than Gary Payton 2 getting another open layup.

I agree he does and they both do but in no way are they ready to play now. I don’t think there’s any debate on that. We are talking about the playoffs and these guys could barely crack the rotation in the reg season as their performance has been lacking when given the opportunity.

I don’t think Draymond can hang with Bari on those pullups or post fades. I believe Bari can get him in foul trouble. I think this might work

If Jalen and Amen playing good, I am fine with that.

But if Jalen only get 7 pts or 9 pts, Cam could play better.

You guys. Cam is not playing in this series. Get real. You know all his obvious flaws that are apparent in garbage time regular season games against the other team’s third string? You know, not playing defense, not passing, freelancing and ball-stopping, driving into a crowd. Those flaws will literally immediately sink this team in a playoff game against Steph, Draymond, and Kerr.

Heck of a season. We'll get them next year after we add "Superstar" (to be named later)

    Pipe dream continues

Bari needs to start, get more minutes and shots than Amen. FVV needs to be superglued to the bench. Let Reed have all his shots. Some might actually go in.

I'm still laughing at the idea that it's because we don't have a superstar.

Ime wouldn't know what to do with superstars. In Boston he had 2 superstars, his team was flat out better and deeper, his team shot the 3 better than the Warriors and he got his ass handed to him by Kerr.

What's the excuse for fumbling those finals? He pointed to his team not being tough enough. They kicked out his 3 toughest guys (Williams, Williams and Smart) to win a championship after her was fired.

Ime is building this team to be a mirror image of his playing career. He's building around himself rather than the players. He's choosing offensive tactics that he likes rather than what suits the players and the series.

So if he wants to stick with it fine but if he's the star then let him take the blame when it doesn't work. If he loses this series we'll have definitive proof that he can't do it neither with 2 superstars nor with a very unselfish/deep team.

I believe you all have to stop this Jalen hype and being Jalen Lover..

He is weak, he scores 30 points and then 9 points, and then 20 points and then 5 points...inconsistent..
This is not NBA ignite league, this is NBA.. You have to be consistent and mentally strong..

I don't know. But Thomspon, Adams line up is killing us offensively... Something has got to give.

    Maybe a
    Sengun
    Bari
    Brooks
    Green
    FVV line up

go listen to Ime and Kerr on how they schemed JG out the game bad he made the right reads - we missed. 31 paint shots and 10 FTs … he did his job

The issue is Ime doesn’t draw any plays to get JG easy FGA, even tho it’s know we win if he scores more than 30 points

he didn’t even have enough shot attempts to reach 30 last game

I think there’s a lot of truth in here, especially the bolded part. Was thinking that throughout his tenure, this is just a reflection on how he played, which wasn’t that great either. Helluva defender, offense not so much. Yeah that last part I also agree, but he’s saying play like this and then they lose, it’s on them…come on now Ime. You are asking too much, they basically have to give it their all on defense and then you don’t do anything to make it easier for them on offense. Our guys just have to work too hard to get anything easy. So he has to take the blame or change the system. Now it’s in his hands, but he’s not willing to take any blame. I already felt this year he’s not the coach for us long term and this series just makes that even more clear. Especially with how the Celtics did after he left.

I don't believe Udoka is a championship coach. I don't see a logical/available replacement right now. The FO is going to extend FVV at probably way more than folks will be happy with and I wouldn't be surprised if they extend Brooks as well. We will have another pretty good regular season, because of outstanding defense and get slaughtered in the playoffs, because of Ime's lack of self-awareness and because Stone doesn't have the balls to make a big move and will continue to suck up to Ime. We will be told we are a team of 24 year olds and we need to be patient another 2-3 years.
