I would have given Jabari his spot back after the injury. Amen first off the bench with less minutes for Fred. There’s no way VanVleet should get more than 32 mpg in a series.
"starting lineup has been good" GTFO dude I'll give him the benefit of the doubt until the game, because you don't wanna look like you are panicking. If however he does the same **** I think we need to acknowledge that after he trains the young guys enough we're going to have to mark jcakson him to finally improve
yeah i would love to see Jabari start over Amen for now. you can still do the double big line up simply by subbing someone and putting Adams in.
Not worried about the starting lineup. Every game, so far, we came out strong, better than strong actually. What's concerning is the rotation and potentially players "gassing out," unable to maintain defensive intensity throughout. IME needs a strategic approach to utilizing more of the roster and knowing when to bring in fresh legs or take out struggling players. We've got both offensive and defensive specialists collecting dust on the bench who could make an impact. (but it's concerning that Gary Payton's 3 consecutive slips in G3 were so effective, as if the Rockets never saw that play before and thus didn't prepare for it in practice -- hint: they saw it multiple times during the last regular season games against the GSW)
Cam Whitmore is sitting quietly inside the "Break the Glass" box. He's ready. Redemption needs an opportunity.
I agree. I think either start him with jalen put bari at 4 or put him to run second unit with Tari. I think this unit could create havoc to Warriors bench without curry. I would throw in some minutes for Holliday as well.
Jebrari should not start. Much better backup. How about start Cam as he is unstoppable offensively and we need offense. He kills Amen and Jabrari offensively. I can handle losing with Cam if that’s what happens, but leaving as is is not the way to lose.
That wasn’t what lost them the game. Miscommunication, not trapping properly, and wrong assignments lost them that game.
Cam isn’t unstoppable offensively. Why do so many Rocket fans believe this. He doesn’t play a team game and with Warriors stacking the paint how on earth will Cam fare going 1 on 3 like he always does. It’s out of the question. He is where he belongs. On the bench
I think it would be interesting to have him run point with green in the backcourt. Bari at 4. But i think udoka wants and trusts fred at the point so that’s out of the question. But i think it would be intriguing to constantly attack with Amen and Jalen and making plays for others. I think we can win with that lineup. But i understand coaches reservations. Udoka is conservative with good reason
if ime is about giving playing time to who deserves, for sure Amen should sit. He has not been able to play his game so far, and we lack shooting. Give Jabari more minutes.
That doesn’t really matter. What matters is what he does in games. And for the past 2 years he has not shown he can mesh in a half court set and play team ball. He turns the ball often after going 1 on 2-3-4 players. Doesn’t make plays when he doesn’t have a shot. And plays little defense in terms of 4 quarters of sound defense in front if his man or help and running back on breaks. He does none of that. The bench is where he will stay
yeah something needs to change. He likes Amen on Curry though and he can switch on anyone. I don’t like it since he doesn’t necessarily use Amen to make plays. Its heavy fred games 1 and 3 and green game 2. The ball should be in jalen and amens hands to score or make plays
