exactly, kerr worked the zebras after game 2. last night postgame udoka could have easily brought up how brooks was obviously pre-targeted for quick benching this game with 5, maybe 6 of his 6 fouls being horse shht. but he instead chose to just reinforce that his gameplan is solid but players just aren’t listening smh
um not true at all if he was showing fight when he drive he would drive with intent to yam on them fools instead of trying to finesse a layup or draw a foul. Since the organization wants him to be the star of this team he has to play better
Which gives you no hope when the coach thinks things are fine and adjustments don't need to happen. Ime is a very reactive, performative coach. We need more proactive and innovative, like Kerr.
Showing fight what? He played like absolute **** again and was just out there doing exactly what he said Draymond was doing "talking". Draymond had a much better impact. He better come out next game and back up his talk.
idk where u get that take, bro... with all due respect... Folks have been roasting FVV the entire series... and well before Everyone was sayin how trash Amen was in the thread and calling to be replaced by Bari... Senguns inconsistency is noted all over... I'd say Ime is getting the most blame... There's plenty of blame to go around.... White knighting for jalen seems wholly unnecessary imo... and Jalen aint doing himself any favors... did he get in Draymonds face about a cheap hit? No... over painting his nails... smdh....
He was non existent in 2/3 games. Can you blame them? He wasn’t the only one, though. We played a little scared/timid.
Unfortunately, as far as Jalen goes, "maybe this wakes him up" is a mantra the Rockets organization has to dust off again and again. And again. And again.
Jalen is a soft mental midget. Hard to have confidence in that. He isn't the only issue with this flawed roster but the Rox need a better perimeter player on this team. Just not good enough. My expectations for this series were low anyway but it's still frustrating losing to the ****ing Warriors again, especially this less than impressive Warriors squad.
The question isn't him getting a pass. As our best player, according to his Turkish fan base, how can he not shoulder the blame when he missed WIDE open dunks & layups. Jalen didn't play well but made the correct passes. Sengun crumbled even though he wasn't the main game plan to stop
He has played bad one game. Let’s get that straight…we are Trying to excuse Jalen for showing up 1/3, so therefore we are giving senguim more of a pass for having a bad 1 It’s not that ****ing complicated
who's giving sengun a pass. He sucked yesterday. Missed easy shots missed free throws big reason we lost. But none of anything matters unless Fred either gets benched or shoots better than 26%.
Sengun dosent necessarily get a pass but it’s understandable Hes played great in game 1 and 2. Game 3 was bad. I feel he will recover in this series and the next game. FVV I have no confidence in Jalen has played bad in game 1 and 3. Low confidence. The media and most people have been right about the rockets. We don’t have the guy that we can go to like shai, Luka, lebron, harden, Leonard, jokic, Tatum, etc… When someone is struggling someone else has to step up, it’s not as easy to “blame” someone on the rockets like it could if one of those stars struggled.
What I say that's wrong? I said this after game 1 and was right, everyone was slobbering on Jalen after game 2. If Jalen carries the offense for the rest of the series people will just say "Oh its just playoff jitters, he was adjusting" you are only as good as your last game, always been true of sports.
We thought the team was adopting Ime and Dillon's attitude but nope... They were all looking up to Jalen this whole time. Jalen is the real villain...
