Rockets planned against Curry. Jalen is not blameless just because the gameplan was against him. He didn't really play much better than G1, but you're letting him off the hook for some reason. I agree, his worst moments were forcing shots, however he also had moments where he did NOT attack and was not aggressive, and missed out on opportunities. Anyways, you're going to excuse him to death so it's not worth the effort. He's a part of the team and ALSO played below his ability, like several others. Sorry you can't see that. Have a good night.
Jabari has been great for us, Amen not so much. I dont want to bench him, but i want quicker rotations and probably less minutes. Jabari should be getting 25ish. I also want Fred at 30 instead of near 40 but good luck with that.
His effort is absolutely there. He was busting his ass on defense, playing with as much effort as he could, and that matters, but his offensive inconsistency is back breaking. He can't reliably carry a team on his own at this point, and that's not his fault, but it would sure be nice if he could do it on some predictable level instead of being a wildcard basically every game.
If you agree he was schemed and doubled, And his worst possessions where when he forced it Please, by all means Give me an example of him lacking aggression and missing an opportunity. I'd love a time stamp
We don't have to bench Amen but he needs to be on a shorter leash. Like for Ime to have him closing out THIS game was insane. He played horrible all game long, sit his ass on the bench.
No, I've been complaining about FVV for months .... FVV is the one who needs to go away. He's stealing checks.
You don’t beat Draymond Green by talking back. That’s his game. Jalen’s better off doing what he does best and that's letting his play speak for him. Stay locked in. No need to get dragged into the noise.
Green didn't play well but nobody did outside of Jabari. Why he isn't starting is beyond me. Ime is getting thoroughly outclassed. He's clueless on how to run an offense. Amen is absolutely killing us. He's not even playing the great d we're used to seeing. FVV is a black hole. Terrible. Really disappointing At least Jalen is standing up to Draymond because nobody else seems to care
Oh Jalen, thank you ever so much for showing fight after the final siren. Thanks so much for showing said fight during the game, you know, when you made next to zero attempt to break down the defense even though you had the ball in your hands the majority of the time, but instead were happy playing the Jalen Green standard 'well I just had a good game the jokes on you if you think I'm going to have another one' games.
He doesnt need to be MJ he just needs to not **** the bed every every second game and we win the series.
Remember when LeBron scored 8 points in the 2011 Finals and everyone clowned him? Now you can't hold Jalen to a LeBron level, he's more like a Bradley Beal level at this point, but he shouldn't be in the single digits at all during the playoffs.
Sengun has had 1 bad game. People do complain about Fred but Fred is also someone we aren't building around, he is a temporary stop gap. This is Amen's second year vs Jalen's 4th. I assure you Amen in year 4 will be better than Amen currently. I can't speak for everyone but my concern with Jalen has nothing to do with these past 3 games so I am not sure what you are talking about. The problem is his entire career has shown me his inconsistency and how mentally fragile he is. Again to reiterate the problem that makes Jalen uniquely accountable versus other players like Fred is that the Rockets coddle and are trying to build around Jalen. Fred and others are expendable in the organization's eyes, Jalen is their hopes and dreams.
