Again. It’s a f*cking problem if your PG AND SG both can’t shoot. Your backcourt cannot be a detriment no matter who you sub in……

He has to stagger jg and alp.. there should be no lineup without one of them.

Because our offensive players are inconsistent and aren't the talent that Curry is. Jalen Green is literally getting locked up by Curry and Hield. Sengun is going 1-6 from the freethrow line.

If Curry didn't go nuclear on us we would have won. We don't have a nuclear player or even a closer.

said this in the game thread, but I’ll share it here too.

we should feel cheated… and the Rockets organization should feel like absolute morons

this is a very weak playoffs. This is definitely a year. You could’ve stole a championship like the Rangers did couple years ago.

and all they needed to do was get at least one playmaker that could shoot consistently like even a buddy hield type. We had plenty of draft capital … Plenty of young players there’s absolutely no reason we shouldn’t have done that it’s r****ded that we went into the playoffs severely lacking a basic bare minimum capability

We literally have no one in the playoff rotation that can shoot a three-point consistently… and no onethat can get their shot off consistently

Crazy thing is it wouldn’t have even took that to get him. But i am confident we would beat them in 5 with Fox.

Celtics are an auto pilot team. When Ime took over Tatum and Brown were already mature and already went to the playoffs. Doc Rivers could have gotten that team to the Finals.

Amen will be better than Fox in the long term.

I don't get why people are overreacting. This team is full of playoff Rookies who have never been there before. This was never a championship contender and everyone knows it. The whole point of this season was to develop our talent and see what we have before making moves in the offseason. The last championship contender without a superstar was the detroit pistons in 04.

We also have another top ten pick coming in this draft. Stone will have plenty of assets and picks to make a move for a superstar or continue building through the draft.

we could have traded our suns picks and tari and we could have gotten Fox. that's all it took. maybe even less. but this board and Stone were so convinced that we didn't need to make a move and that we shouldn't disrupt the movement. whatever that means.

Just blatantly false. Brad Stevens couldnt get to the finals for multiple years with the same talent. Stop making **** up dude

To this day if you check celtics forums most of their fans want Ime over Joe.

    how do you see that?

He won't even be Ben Simmons at this level..he has zero offensive skillset!

Nope, that is just not true.

Our flaws are magnified, we miss FTs, we miss easy shots, we don't have a plan B on offense when play A is not working.

We have guys on the bench who could help.

Holiday - should be playing backup PG
Reed - if you need shooting
Cam - if you need someone who can create a good shot (For himself at least)
    Jock - a 3pt shooting spacing big.

We have players - we just don't use them.

It is easier for good offensive players to play OK D, than it is for good defenders to play OK O.....

We lack skill in the role players we are playing.

Yeah, Jalen is invisible tonight. But to be honest, compared with the horrible Game One performance he had? Today I don't blame it all on him. He is just way too streaky as always. That's why I said they should all work out hard in the summer. I agree with you that offsensive woes come down to the players.

He is averaging 14 points per game in his second year on 55.7% fg percentage and 28% from three. Dude is 22 years old, it isn't unreasonable to see him develop his shot more the next 1-2 seasons.

He also has a decent mid range shot but against the Warriors its been difficult because they pack the paint and dare us to shoot threes. We can't hit threes consistently and thats why we are losing.

My issue is it doesnt seem like Ime has ability to make adjustments or even recognize who is playing well and who isnt.

Stone is building a team of "sometimes you, sometimes me, always us" but Ime is coaching like its a team of "starters always plays, bench always sits". Stone is building a deep team but Ime is coaching like the starters are way better than the bench and that isnt true.

I am sure Stone will continue to build thru the draft and even add that playmake the OP is whining about but will that matter? Ime plays FVV 39 mpg anyway lol kek.
