Well he is tonight so he should have played. The point is the tools were there to win the game we lost because Ime didnt play Jabari enough so miss me with your complaints. Whats the proof if we got a shooter pg Ime would have played him over his lover FVV? He cant even play Adams, Tari and Jabari you expect him to play another player on top lol
Cam and Reed are going to get cooked on the defensive end. Warriors will target them on every play. Jabari is a fair question for Ime.
I gave Ime a lot of credits for bringing the team to 2nd seed in the West in two years, but he does have some problems with his stubburnness and offensive design. But again, any perfect coach out there? To put it simple, even if we lose this series, I don't think he should be fired. What's more important is that we need our young cores to keep improving during the summer and we need to upgrade our roster next season. And maybe find a better offensive assistant coach.
I'm super disappointed that we lost tonight too - but it's really wild to me that you guys are pointing the finger at Stone and Udoka. We are so much farther along than we should be. It made perfect sense to get a look at these kids in the playoffs and then decide what move to make in the offseason.
Ime took actual allstars to the NBA Finals. We don't have all stars or generational talent yet. Jalen Green can't break single digits in the playoffs.
he gets praised for this btw. any GM with a patient owner can do that. "look at the team he built..." I mean no ****, we had the worst roster for like 4 years straight and drafted in the top 4 each time. I seriously don't understand why he gets any type of praise here. Presti is an actual GM who is capable of building a good team while accumulating assets. I guarantee you Stone has no real relationships in the league. Only time he makes trades is when it's initiated by desperate teams like the Nets.
I agree with everything you said but a lot of our offensive woes come down to the players. Sengun cannot go 1-6 from that freethrow line. We shot a combine 12-22 from the free throw line. Jalen Green has no excuse to be passive the entire game. Not once did he attack or make plays. If you watched Timberwolves vs Lakers when the game was close Anthony Edwards got the ball every time to iso and make plays for this team. He called the plays and ran the entire offense by himself. Why do we need to rely on FVV for that? What are we paying Jalen to do?
I thought Stone felt pretty good about Rox this season. A round of play-off is beyond his satifaction.
Amen is the primary defender on Steph Curry. Even if Curry was on tonight we don't have another real defender to stick onto him. Jabari should have taken Jalen minutes I agree. Jalen played 39 minutes, more than Amen or anyone else on this team other than FVV.
The way our game plan was to blitz Steph every time he got the ball, but your center and wing did this every possession they would be tire out before the half. Ime needed a bigger rotations for that game plan, but he was stubborn as hell. You could see the second half most Sengun's shots were short because he had dead legs. We gave up a lot of rebounds because our players couldn't even jump high. Jalen was scared and he forced Jalen to play through it, but the game was on the line that was not the time for experiment. We can win even if Jimmy suits up, but we can't win with this gameplan and such a short rotations.
Ime has shooting on this team, he just doesn't play it. Holiday shot 50% from 3 in the 2nd half Reed can shoot Cam can shoot Ime plays defense only players, over good offensive players...witness Amen over Jabari, which causes our starters to be unbalanced, JABARI is a good shooter. DD
