ClutchFans Game Thread: Rockets @ Warriors 4/26/2025 (Playoffs Round 1, Game 3)

I’m not doing this to myself anymore. I cannot watch another generation of Rockets losing to the Warriors. This is exactly what I didn’t want in the first round. I’m not going to put myself through this anymore. If they win, great. I just won’t be watching this series anymore.

 

The really good scorers find a way. Steph certainly did, and we had the same gameplan against him. Now, I'm not asking Jalen to drop 30 when the entire opposing team is gameplanning for him--I do not expect him to be Steph Curry. But he should be able to get 15 at least!

Yea my last post was an exaggeration. Amen can give up 10-15 mins a night but no more. He’s too limited.

Well yea, you just described everything the Rockets lack. We have zero “go to” guy. Our offense is basically street ball. Our D is good and great at times. That won’t win playoff series unfortunately.

I expected it out of Jalen. This is who he is.

They should test him early in the game and if it's bad Jalen, have him hit the bench.

Calvin just said it - they backing off Amen and daring him to shoot…. He has to shoot to stop the turnovers or he needs to sit for Bari and give us spacing

Pathetic to see Jabari didnt get any shots in last 3 mins.

 

He took Jabari out and we lost, since no one else on the team can actually shoot LOL.. We can't be running FVV, Amen, Jalen and Sengun out there, and sometimes with Adams lol, holy crap man... I love Ime, but tonight was infuriating. Damn it I haven't been this pissed in a long time.. especially since it was a winnable game, we gave this game away.
