He was asked after Game 1 and claimed he was thinking of putting Aaron in during the 3rd quarter, but decided not to when the lineup with Steven Adams made the comeback.

He can't use that excuse this time. The Rockets got beat pretty badly from late in the 2nd quarter onward.

I would like to see him utilize more than 8 guys, but the bigger need may be altering the starting lineup. Amen just doesn't have it in this series. We need shotmakers out there. Either plug Jabari or Tari in his place.

 

The Rockets are paying a la fitness player 40 million and playing 40+ mins a night. Make that make sense. Dude is barely a nba player, because I can’t name one thing he’s good at.

I don’t want to see Amen for the rest of the series. Play Holiday instead.

 

We don’t have a franchise player. We have a deep roster that worked in the regular season but you can’t win in the playoffs when defenses and refs whistles tighten without a true superstar.

I’d bet my house on none of the players on our current roster becoming one either. They all have significant flaws/holes in their game.

 

He played within the flow for the most part. Why don't Ime put in Tate to post up Curry.

 

The warriors had a good game plan on Jalen and that’s why he didn’t get a lot of looks. The Rockets need to adjust for next game.

I'd like to amend what I said at half...FVV didn't end 5/17...was only 5/14....SOSDD. He is a JOKE ! JG with 7 and 9 points in our 2 loses...what 36 in the win ? My goodness !

 

The Butler thing is irrelevant. They lose this game if the Warriors had him too.

This series is all about the Rockets young core. If they play average, they win, even if they go down 3-1, they win. If Jalen decides to play aggressive we will not lose another game this series. It's really that simple.

We have the defense, we just need a consistent scorer, its either going to be Alpi or Jalen and if Alpi is getting punked by Post and Jalen is deferring to Fred we're just going to lose this series embarrassingly.

Fred has not shown up in three games.

 

They both played like sh*t tonight and I'm annoyed at both of them. Amen too--our three best young players all laid an egg. They all have to do better.

That said I'm definitely most annoyed at Jalen. He's had two single-digit scoring games out of three. Sure, the other one was a fantastic performance, but man, you gotta at least be a decent scorer out there night in and night out (aside from the occasional horrible night) when you're a 175lbs 6'4" shooting guard with below-average court vision/basketball IQ.

 

Amen and Jalen tried.... they just didn't perform well.

Sengun wasn't too far behind. His success is supposed to be an advantage comparative to perimeter teammates against the Warriors wack inside defensive presence.

 

Not necessarily, we'll win game 5, so even if down 3-1, all we gotta do is win game 6

 

Pathetic. We have to able to win a game without butler.

Gsw gameplan was to not let jalen beat them. Thwy deny him all game 94ft.
