Game is mostly on Sengun, Amen and Jalen. They did not show up at all. At least with Fred, expectations were already low.

 

Without FVV, this game should have already been dead since 1st quarter...but yeah, we better find an upgrade in the summer

I wanted a Platoon situation in Fred VanVleet, Aaron Holiday, Reed Sheppard.

Rudy Tomjanovich saw Kenny Smith struggle, bench him, put in Rookie Sam Cassell.

It is so shameful Ime Udoka is costing and hurting the Team by bad PG play over and over.

Not letting Amen Thompson not run the offense has completely ruined the team offense also.

 

It’s Jalen too. I’ve said over and over again our biggest weakness is the backcourt. They will lose us this series if they don’t show up, period.

 

Put Fred on a veteran team that has been taught basketball and he would look much better. He will be gone in a few weeks and we can find someone new to blame.

To me there is one Huge Excuse which is true.

Rockets didn't fly out quickly after Game 2.

Whose idea was that, practicing at home flying out for a Game 3 without practice at San Francisco.

Everything is odd to me, should've flew out quickly, get rested and settled in, sleep properly.

Rockets Management really screwed up.

Fred actually put up 13 points in the first quarter. He pretty much carried the offense while everyone else was trying to find their footing. Sure, the Rockets might have to shake things up sooner or later, but it’s hard to pin this one on VanVleet. He did his part.

 

For the series he's 27% from the field and 21% from 3. Just to be extra clear, those are in the 20's.

It's not on him to do better than that whether as role player or key player or guy who has to take over or floor general or vet brought in for these games or whatever excuse you're making for him today?

If you can't flat out say that's bad, you're really an idiot. Even if he were making the minimum, that's bad.

Fred has to play much better whether he is or isn't responsible for leading the team to victories defensively or offensively. No one in the entire rotation regardless of their role or minutes should shoot that poorly whatever the reason.
