I'm surprised he was still available.

    Jaylen ReedSPenn State
    Height: 5 - 11 |Weight: 211 lbs |RAS: 9.08

Jaylen Reed is a physical and instinctive safety with a well-rounded skill set that allows him to contribute in all phases of the game. He excels in run support, demonstrating strong tackling ability and a willingness to come downhill aggressively. In coverage, Reed has the range to patrol deep zones and the awareness to read quarterbacks and anticipate plays. His ball skills and ability to make plays in contested situations add value to the secondary. Reed’s aggressiveness can sometimes work against him by over-committing both in the run game and in coverage. However, his high football IQ and leadership on the field make him a dependable presence

It’s was thin asf. Ward is likely gonna miss games with injury. CJ is a one year rental and Pitre geta picked on a ton in coverage.

Jayden, Jaylin, Jaylin, Jaylen, Jo’Quavious, Aireontae

Clearly Jayden Blue fits better just based on his first name. And he’s 3 years younger

    Gardner-Johnson /Bullock/ Ward*/ Reed

    *when available

very interchangeable cast of safeties. Good shot to have an impact in training camp with Ward injured all the time and Stewart the last Safety on the roster.

I may be remembering wrong but it seemed like we sucked at defending 3rd and long situations.

Texans already have Jaylon Thomas, Jalen Pitre, and Jayden Peevy on the roster... like... why not draft for someone named "Leonard" for once...?
