So, quite a few picks in the last two rounds. Any genetic freaks who need technique work or something and have fallen?
I want to see Thomas Perry from Middlebury get drafted. I don't care who, I just want to see a football player from Middlebury actually get drafted.
OT/OG Cam Williams OT Logan Brown DT Aeneas Peebles OT Jack Nelson OT Hollin Pierce RB Raheim Sanders RB Brashard Smith C Seth McLaughlin CB Zy Alexander
Watson should be gone when the season starts. He's not expected to play this season anyway. I see an injury buyout and release.
As others have mentioned, not sure we are in the market for TE, but Jalin Conyers was a pretty solid track guy in West Texas in high school at 220 pounds. He is now 260, tested at an elite level in the agility drills, 40 was a bit disappointing, but he fits the bill. At OL, still some absolute mammoth humans out there. Hollin Pierce is like 6-8, 345
Cam Williams has top-10 pick size at OT but limited experience and mixed results. He’s the type of boom/bust prospect we should absolutely target in the late rounds.
Funny enough, don't be surprised if we take another USC guy in this draft. We were heavily linked to LB Easton Mascarenas-Arnold in the pre-draft visits. We like shades of red/brown and gold together evidently when you factor in the other selections.
Would love picking Quinn here. Good value for 3rd qb developmental spot. My thoughts are if stroud misses time it might open spot to showcase him for a trade similar to how we got Schaub. If he's good behind the scenes it lets us walk away from Mills at the end of his deal to save some cap space.
