At this point you wonder if a team that isn’t sold on their current starter might pull the trigger. Carolina comes to mind. SF maybe?
Need to go RB next. This team underestimates the need to be lethal out the backfield. Makes our offense less predictable & keeps Mixon fresh
I wouldn’t be surprised if we don’t punt most of the draft away until next year. I think maybe our front office saw value in the first 3 rounds and think next year is a better bet.
Are we just giving up on Pierce? Yes he was not a good fit in the Bobby O, but he's still only 25. I don't feel the need to force RB this year if there isn't a clear and obvious fit. We could still use another OL and a TE. Heck, there are still good WRs hanging around too like Ayomanor or Horton. Given our weapon situation, we need a full blown competition in those rooms for our new OC.
Since Tuten is gone, I would consider packaging Metchie + some 6th's to try to get into top of 5th to get Blue
Agreed on the WRs but Pierce is on the last year of his rookie deal.l and he hasn’t really shown much. Mixon might not have much left. Maybe two years elite? Plus, need a change of pace back.
Hoping for change of pace RB, Center, and DT depth during rest of draft. RB - Brashard Smith C - Jake Majors/Drew Kendall DT - Yahya Black/Jordan Phillips
It's looking like there could be some very interesting UDFA RB value looking at who is still remaining. Man Ollie Gordon fell off a cliff from expectations, but talent could still be there.
