Unlike steak, ground beef has internal bacteria and must be cooked all the way through (i.e, the internal temperature must reach a certain temperature to ensure internal bacteria are killed). In other words, medium-rare and rare steaks are fine to eat, but you don't want any red in your ground beef.
Was told the cabin light in the car was illegal to turn on while driving. I was told this old enough to remember telling other kids in the back of a van and seeing the adults smirk about it when I said it. I tell me kids it just makes it too bright in the car for me to see outside well. They don't turn the light off, but we cut it off from the front.
I think my mom was overprotective or something because pork back then had to be cooked to medium well. Now there's way less chance of worms compared to the ultra low chances 30 yrs ago
I'll never understand this. I remember when I was hanging out at my other brother's grandmother's townhouse in Houston, and she "cooked" us "hamburgers" for lunch. They were black hockey pucks. We still talk about that afternoon, the pool was nice.
Wait what? For steaks? Do you use ketchup on them as well lol? Anything past medium is criminal and medium is pushing it
