LOL. Drafting a bunch of Olinemen wasn't going to fix the OL issues. They have Oline talent. The problem was SCHEME and coaching. Texans took what they felt is the best players available for what they do. They needed weapons for CJ. Got them. They got another OL guy. They got another slot CB...Pitre insurance. They were NEVER going to just throw bodies at the OL issues.

Cam is at best an average oline in the league....we traded away a top 5 LT and added average talent at best.... our oline is a major issue

I'm not unhappy with the Texans draft, but I really wish they had made OL more of a priority. Feels like a big missed opportunity.

Throwing bodies at the OL is not going to fix the issues. They have talent. The problem was scheme and coaching. Getting rid of Slowik is going to do WONDERS for the Oline issues.

What talent ? Robinson is medicore/average at best. Who's our RG? Brown is medicore. Scruggs has his ups and downs and is very inconsistent. Who exactly are you putting faith in? Fisher got smoked by the Chiefs

It’s obvious that the front office feels better about the free agent OL signings than the fanbase does. I’m not saying they are correct, but it’s been pretty clear for a while now that their level of concern with that group does not match the fans’.

We'll see. If the OL is garbage again then Nick needs to be fired.

I don't understand it. How we didn't address the OL is beyond me

Can't have your cake and eat it too. At 25, it was unlikely the top tier OLine prospects will still be around. They were not. Trade up? Sure, but then no later picks or next year's. Did you see the price teams are paying to trade up? Now, the 1st 2 picks were fine. The 3rd was interesting and it makes the WR room feel stacked again like last year. But sure, last year there was hope that the OLine will be great, until they plays like crap. Now it is a major change and they have bodies, it is up to coaches to get them to sync. Really, if you don't have top tier rookies, you cannot just plug them in.

As for the 4rd pick of a CB who no one thinks highly of, it happens a lot, sometimes, the GM gets lucky, and sometimes, they get a lump of coal. Hope the 3 Jays will be part of this team for years to come. If by year all 4 are still with team then this so far is a good draft. We will surely see.

Ok. I hope you're right. If the OL is 19 or better in the league this season I'll admit I was wrong.
