Late round OL, WR, DL RB, are some of the most fun late round players. But it makes no sense to horde 6/7 rounders this year if you're not gonna move up for somebody you like
At this point if we make it to our 6th round pick and he’s still there, we might as well take Sanders. He’d be a better backup than Mills.
I can't think of any other reason to trade up for Smith, other than some other team was going to take him. But it's seems unlikely, so what other reason am I missing?
We should have picked a quality IOL with our 4th pick and we probably still could have gotten Jaylin Smith in the 6th or 7th. Just DUMB.
Don't be so dramatic we signed Cam Robinson and some others in free agency and sill can sign undrafted free agents. There were not any can't miss prospects around. Getting rid of Tunsil and Kenyon will make our line better already. The sky isn't falling.
I can see that with wide receivers and running backs but are we really going to find starter ready offensive linemen in rounds 6 and 7 better than our weak links? I'm sure it's possible, but I was hoping for at least 2 in the top 4 picks. CJ better be working on a quicker release.
I think Caserío is too focused on making sure he gets a guy with the exact correct value of a pick and that's why he's flying all around the draft board and losing some of these trades. He doesn't want to conduct business as though he has specific picks. He wants to have whatever pick he wants at the appropriate time when the correctly valued guy arrives at that pick so he stockpiles all these picks to be able to do so.
Nick is incompetent. He needs to be fired after this season. Nick's #1 offseason duty was to significantly improve the OL and I think he failed miserably. With that said, I truly hope that I'm wrong and that I'm eating crow at the end of the season. My guess is that our 2025 OL is in the bottom 25% of the league. I'm extremely disappointed.
