    Honestly just a freak injury but there is a point in here we should underscore and not lose sight of (may not be directly applicable impossible to prove), but in the day and age where we're focused on load management...we forget that most injuries (outside of severe contact) happen with deconditioning lack of muscle memory, and weakness of those smaller stabilizing muscles that you can't really just work out day in and out...take a while to build back up with regular play. An achiles like that is just freakish though. But given that he just came back (obviously not load management) its pretty plausible he lost that conditioning and NBA game readiness it had something to do with it

    Just my 2 cents in the era where everything is about not putting someone on the floor any second "because they risk injury" and load management is most peoples MVP

    Dame’s career is probably over. That dude killed us so many times. Amazing player. Sucks to see it end like that; regardless of competition.

    The Rockets' coaches could learn something about playing with speed from the Pacers. They are fun to watch on offense.
