Obviously, they're not done Buck, but I'm sure you can appreciate the humor in the moment.

Why draft him when Kadarius Toney is available for a McDonalds $5 meal?

I want this dude protecting my quarterback.

And my beer at Henry's Hideout.

Dude looks like he'd put you in the hospital for taking George Strait off the jukebox.

There are still some OL to be had in the 2nd. Tate Ratledge, Jonah Savaiinaea, Aireontae Ersery, Ozzy Trapilo. I'm not sure I'd call these guys projects/boom or bust but I understand what you are getting at.

I'm still feeling the hurt of not getting Jackson.

This would be my Pick if I'm Nick. It would be him or Jonah Savaiinaea.

Go OL early, miss on the WR run that’s coming.
Vice versa, go WR, pass on remaining slim pickings at OL
Might have to use some of that draft capital

JMA's Big Board for the Texans

    Best options at No. 34
    1. Luther Burden III, WR, Missouri: He had 86 catches for 1,212 yards and nine touchdowns as a sophomore in 2023. He's 5-11, 208 pounds and one of the top receivers left. Could be the Texans future No. 2 receiver.
    2. Mason Taylor, TE, LSU: He's the son of Hall of Famer Jason Taylor. He's 6-foot-5, 256 pounds and figure to be a weapon in the passing game. He had 55 catches for 546 yards and two touchdowns in 2024.
    3. Nick Emmanwori, S, South Carolina: One of the top players left on the board. He could have gone in the first round but dropped. He had 88 tackles, four interceptions, including two he returned for interceptions during his final year at South Carolina.
    4. Nic Scourton, Edge, Texas A&M: Began at Purdue before transferring. He had 12 sacks in his sophomore season, and five as a junior with the Aggies. He's 6-4, 285 pounds, and could be the future replacement for Danielle Hunter.
    5. Jonah Savaiinnaea, G, Arizona: Addresses arguably Houston's biggest need at guard. Played right guard at Arizona and is one of the better players left on the board.

    Options at No. 58
    6. Tate Ratledge, G, Georgia
    7. Jaylin Noel, WR, Iowa St.
    8. Jack Bech, WR, TCU
    9. Tre Harris, WR, Ole Miss
    10. Alfred Collins, DT, Texas

    Options at Nos. 79, 89, 99
    11. Kyle Williams, WR, Washington St.
    12. Cameron Williams, OT, Texas
    13. Charles Grant, OT, William & Mary

They have a real need for WR, OG and T. Really hard to know what to do. Might need to take the WR and then trade back up to get a G or T and hope the other falls.

All BS. Give him a coach like Meco and locker room like the Texans and this kid will ball out.

Guess I'm in the minority. I want Higgins over Burden.

Kirk is also our slot. I think that's where Burden is best.
