I would have settled for the refs actually calling a foul there. Letting that go is dangerous and is how fights start.

Pretty sure Kerr has told his bench mob to target Amen with dirty plays like this, hoping he will retaliate and suplex someone like he did Herro and get suspended

Golden State's Jimmy Butler has been diagnosed with a deep glute muscle contusion and his status for Game 3 against the Houston Rockets is in serious jeopardy, league sources tell ESPN. Best case overall because MRI showed Butler avoided any fracture or structural damage.

Just a bruised ass? What a wuss......he should play.

A deep intramuscular bruise is very different than a bruise under the dermal layer.

Warriors fans are quite literally the worst kind of people on this green earth. In fact, the world would be a better place if all the bandwagon fans that makeup their fanbase when Curry won his first ring disappeared. That group of fans make up for 90% of their fanbase.

The closest thing I can compare them to is like a political cult. Live in their echo chamber, spreading toxicity everywhere online and trying to shift every narrative into they are the victims.

Yes, from different angles it looks different. No one to blame there.

They live in San Francisco. It's what they do. Always the victim.

    https://www.espn.com/nba/insider/st...offs-2025-league-insiders-break-round-1-games

As this series shifts back to San Francisco for Saturday's Game 3 after the Houston Rockets evened the series on Wednesday, the focus is on whether Jimmy Butler III will be available for the Golden State Warriors after suffering an pelvic contusion due to his awful-looking fall in the first half of Game 2.

ESPN's Shams Charania reported late Thursday night that Butler has been diagnosed with a deep glute muscle contusion, and that his status for Game 3 is in serious jeopardy.

"I expected Houston to bounce back, and thought they would wipe the floor with [the Warriors] when Jimmy went out," said a West scout, "But they just don't score enough. They won't put up a big lead on anyone."

This series, as TNT analyst Stan Van Gundy said multiple times during Wednesday's telecast, feels like something straight out of the 1990s rather than today's more pace-and-space dominated game. Every inch of the court is a fight for contested space, with physical play at the forefront and Draymond Green jawing with both Dillon Brooks and Fred VanFleet at various times.

Golden State's Game 1 win showed that if the stars are right -- and if Butler doesn't miss much time -- it would seem the Warriors have an extra offensive gear that Houston, with most of the Rockets making their first playoff appearance, can't match.

"They play hard, and they guard," said an executive, "but their offense isn't ready."

The biggest thing the Warriors have going for them at the moment is a full three days between Games 2 and 3 -- potentially giving Butler enough time to get back onto the court and help Golden State maintain homecourt advantage for this series.

He has a bruised ass, he isn't going to hurt it any worse, take a shot and play.

And "There offense isn't ready" is a clear indicator of a failure on Ime's part.

If Jimmy Butt-ler can't crack the next game, it could have an ass-tronimical effect for the golden stained warriors, they just might hit rock-bottom. Their whole season goes down the drain, a tale of glutes and glory.

Rockets looking good so far. Still playing tough D and with energy. Just need to get more consistent with their inside shots and could take 2-1 lead

Main thing Rockets need to do
Is not get complacent with big leads. Have to keep the energy up whether down by 12 or up by 12

This makes me want to get a job in the media so that I can go to the post game and interview Ime and ask him some hard questions after games like this. I wouldn't last very long of course they would throw my ass out after one or two of these games and never allow me back but it would be so satisfying.. mannn how I wish I cared less about this team aghhhh lol
