Lol, yeah but it’s a sad reality. Glad we all can see it and agree on something here.

when u have fvv as your pg, no sht folks on our team aren't being utilized well on offense. Man has nothing in the bag aside from chuckin 3s, and subpar playmaking to highlight our youngster strength

I think Jabari is Lamarcus Aldridge 2.0. it's criminal how underused he has been under both silas and udoka. Reminds me sort of how EG got lost in the mix after the Rockets drafted Yao.

Well, doesn't that depend on which syllable you stress?

    OF-fen-sive, no.

    Of-FEN-sive, sometimes.

oh yeah Lamarcus Aldridge is the perfect sample. Pick and Pop with Lillard was so effective. The problem is we have to always use Sengun as the pick guy everytime. Maybe do horns always with Sengun and Jabari. Jabari is staying in the corner acting like a guard. I would understand if he was Horry but he's much more than a setup 3pt shooter

Yeah Jabari got some looks, but he hesitates way too much. Also again with bringing the ball low for people to steal it, I know they try to keep it away from opponents like that but I don’t like it.

This is about Jabari not Jalen. Not sure what you mean by Green not fitting Ime's system...Ime has no offense system he just throws it to Sengun and hopes for the best. Or Jalen or FVV get a pick from Sengun/Adams and whatever happens, happens.

I hope he doesn't take things personally when the contract extension is offered. Getting 4 shots is ridiculous when Gred takes 1,000.
The sequence, where he drained a 3 and then blocked a wide open drive in spectacular fashion, happened at a pivotal moment in the game

he's not but you can see why from last night's game. he just has hardly any ability to put the ball on the deck to get him into good spots. something which is very underrated about Durant's game, who we try to pigeon hole Jabari into replicating, is his ability to use quick crossovers to create space for his jumper.

the other big reason is that we have no real playmaker on the floor with Jabari. Fred is a custodian of the ball but he doesn't generate offense for others. Once we get a real point guard (or general playmaker) then Jabari's game will flourish.

No, he’s not. But he also can’t do much other than shoot and when he puts the ball down he gets ripped or dribbles it off his foot.

Jabari shot the ball well in game 1, but he looks very shaky out there to me. He's lack of awareness about dribbling the ball shows he's not quite up to the speed of this playoff series.

He's rebounded well and his team defense has been OK. I think he's played the right number of minutes and his lack of utilization on offense is because he lacks skills (besides shooting jumpers). Guarding a statue on the 3-point line isn't hard for good defenses.

I get very tense whenever he has the ball because the chance of him making a bad decision is so high against great defenses. Jabari's really got to work on his handles in the offseason or he won't get much better.

Comparing him to LaMarcus Aldridge is so dumb I'm almost speechless. I watched LMA a lot at UT and with the Blazers because I was a huge Brandon Roy fan. He was a TERRIBLE 3-point shooter. He was a very good post player. His specialty with Roy that they used as a sledgehammer against teams was the "Pick-N-Pop". His accuracy from 15-16 ft was near-automatic. He was ~20 lbs heavier and much stronger than Jabari ever will be. Jabari is a butterfly. LMA was a mid-range assassin and post up guy. IMO, he was a perfect NBA C but he hated playing the position and didn't give in until later in his career (sort of like Anthony Davis and Al Horford).

Jabari also needs more fire in his motor to move around and get involved in the offense like Tari does.

Bari was on the verge of losing the ball every time he took more than 2 dribbles.

Bosh was scoring 25PPG on good efficiency in Toronto. Maybe Miami Bosh.

Jabari won't get those touches here in Houston

I think Robert Horry is a closer comp

When you can't dribble it is hard to use a heap of him in the offence

6'10" with a nice shooting touch, but soft like Charmin when driving to the basket. Would love for him to get more aggressive driving to the basket seeking contact to get to the foul line. Opponents pack the paint when Jabari drives because his ball-handling is YMCA and he's not gonna find the open man. Hence why Amen took his spot once he got injured.

There were two instances in a row last night
where Jabari shook loose and Fred hesitated until someone was on him to get him the ball
IT kind of pisses me off

Almost like Fred didn;t want to pass to him

Jabari is a tougher Robert Horry. Better rebounder. But until he demands the Porzingis post up turnaround, which he has in his bag and Robert Horry did not, this is going to be his role. If Jabari ever adds some drive and contact he could be an All Star, but that's far-fetched at this point. He is fitting in nicely. Obviously, he's not as clutch as Robert.
