So true. That's what makes Jalen a tease a lot of the time. When he plays like he did tonight, the team can be hard to beat. When he plays like he did in game 1.....
Jalen has bad games and good games just like any other young player. He is playing on a team with either Amen who cant shoot or FVV who is a bad shooter this season that magnifies his bad games cuz the defense is focused only on him. Secondly, the dude is 23 he still has a lot of growing up to do.
Dunno how sustainable this shooting is, but he went off tonight and I'm thrilled. The team is elite when he's productive.
Great game by Jalen. Got our first playoff win and closed out the game strong. Let's repeat the preparation and in-game process and get these road wins.
@astrosrule @AlperenSengun I think since you guys claim there are no Jaters, you should take on the garbage cleanup duty on this one.
What I loved about this win is that the young guys pretty much won it. Shout out to Alpi who played SO intelligently this game, it can't be understated. One big shooting game from Fred in the bay could swing this series.
Jalen pretty much played the best and most impactful game of his young career just now. 38 points on great true shooting--but also hustled his ass off and played phenomenal defense on Curry whenever he was matched up against him. Honestly, I think the Warriors plan of switching Jalen onto Curry doesn't really work that well, because Jalen moves his feet very well and does not foul often. It's against those big physical guys like Kuminga that he struggles on defense...but he even busted his ass today and got a big stop on him, too! Great game, great vibes, it's all up from here!
I have not even seen Harden jack up so many shots even if they went in, those from long range. 18 attempts from 3 are really crazy for somehow who is not getting paid the full max. JH would lay it up more than shoot it. It is definitely a skill lol.
