Run it back! Lets let our kids reach their prime. We are already #2 in the West. We will only get better as they get older.

I'm with you. It's organic..closer to.how it used to be.
There's a short list of players that I'd move Sengun for. And, Giannis is one.
My biggest fear upon acquiring Giannis would be the acceleration/shortening of our timeline to the point we're acquiring too many high salaried, older veterans...
Hopefully, Stone can once again strike a balance between youth and experience in the coming moves.

This is my list and none of these are happening ever so I think keeping Sengun is the way.
    Luka
    Wemby
    Shai
    Ant
    Jokic
    Tatum
    Flagg

Wash with Mobley, Jdub and Banchero so i'd just keep our guy

Giannis is 30 and can't shoot outside the FT line with efficiency. You are right it'll completely shut our window and cut our flexibility and assets. 2nd apron is scary. I'd rather swap/decline FVV and go for a competent guard like Harden, Kyrie or Ty Jerome. Then lock up Bari, Tari & Stevo.

Sengun probably has 15 good seasons left. Giannis might have 3. His whole game is based on athleticism and he's on the wrong side of 30. If we give up all of that for him he's no better off than staying in Milwaukee cuz we aren't a true contender. He'd be out there with no other star again,

Here's the thing about Giannis -- I'd probably only be interested in him if we could trade for him without giving up Amen or Sengun (and I'd give up a lot to make that happen). But...Giannis is also a terrible fit with Amen and Sengun. So, not really sure where to go from there.

Plus Giannis has threatened the Bucks with ultimatums if he can do that to the Bucks he wouldn't hesitate to do that to the Rockets when things aren't going his way.

Unless we luck into the number 1 pick this year, we don't have enough picks to get Giannis and booker?

I tried to type something like this but it wasn't as well worded so thank you haha.

I also cooked up a trade that fit this, but after looking at it I decided I wouldn't do it. Essentially in the trade I was messing around with, we ended up with Lamelo/Giannis, kept Amen, Tari, and Bari but lost lots of picks, Green, Sengun, Reed, Cam, etc. Had a pretty intriguing 6'7"+ starting lineup with mixtures of athletic players, play makers, decent shooters.

in reality a trade has to make sense to both teams, both fan bases, both owners; to swap GA Bucks have to look good to their Bucks’ (fans) eyes.

Why do the Bucks want our guys?

Rockets front office has done a great job to keep flexibility, have a pipeline of good picks lined up and are already winning with their young talent. Of course they want our young players.

Rockets are in amazing position and why should they bail out teams that have done terrible jobs at managing their rosters for example both Bucks and Suns are stuck in mediocrity but have superstars on their roster

you want that for the Rockets? Sure sounds like it

you couldn’t sell the Buck’s fan base losing Freak for people they just don’t know. It’s a nonstarter. Where do you get, for a second, that I believe in this???

My bad if I assumed, I know Giannis is beloved for the Bucks.

just how Sengun, Bari and Amen are beloved for us and it’s too early to give up on these youngsters

but i made other points on why I’d like to keep the young guys as well like the cap situation and flexibility. We lose all of that blowing our load on a 30 year old superstar who will be paid a lot of money

Would Minnesota accept Jalen and Flagg for Anthony Edwards?

I think they would. I’m still not sure I would do that.
I would trade Flagg for SGA

SGA is untouchable right now. Edwards if they lose in first round maybe attainable. I would do it.

I think Ant is. The way he improved his shooting this year. 10 plus attempts at close to 40%.
