    How's the tariff war going?

    I am tired of winning.

    Agree with you here.
Thus the reason I trade TSLA or do business with MAGA supporters.
    a dollar is a dollar.

Some juicy GAINZ in the market... the American liberal sits it out while complaining about cutting government waste, complaining about not importing MS-13 gangsters, and bemoaning the onshoring of American jobs/investment! LMAOOO

You are such a dipshit and really bad at pretending to be part of the capital class.
If you invested at just about any point today, you would have lost money. Those juicy gains happened overnight after Trump again capitulated on his dumb ass trade war.

This “liberal” who actually has skin in the game, is tired of losing money because of Trump.

Today's GAINZ were extra juicy. Double the juice. Sorry that disappoints you!

Do you trade using Robinhood? LOL. I love the retail trading community!

We appear to be months away from a supply-side shock. Empty shelves in Walmart and Target. No matter what The Stable Genius does between now and then.

More juicy GAINZ in the stock market today. Sorry libs.

Once the trade deals roll in, and we start to realize some of benefits of the tariffs, then I'd expect further growth.

I don't like calling the leader of the USA "an idiot".

However - his handling of the economy goes beyond any possible defensible measure.

I think many Trump supporters want to have 100% decoupling from China, they are now getting their wish, they should write to white house to not back down and raise tariff even more!

Side note I guess but I hate how they refer to it as a “correction.” We all know what is really happening is stocks plunged in a sell off, and the next day sharks went out to buy distressed assets on the cheap and that runs back some of the losses in the short.

Either way I hate the term correction. The fundamental reasons for the sell off haven’t been “corrected” in any way

I don’t think most Trump supporters really understand trade. They FEEL a certain way about their way of life, their community, and desire change. They are then pacified by propaganda that asserts blames but never educates them on the intricacies of something like trade.

De-coupling from China would mean that someone else is taking over to supply our needs for goods. Do we ever hear a plan for moving supply chains from china to south or Central America? Of course not. Do we ever hear intricate plans for manufacturing investment here in the US? Do any Trump supporters know that the last year of Biden’s term saw the largest gains of manufacturing jobs in the US in the past 60 years??

I say that as to make the point that what Trump supporters “want” is sort of a fools errand. I think the better question to answer is why they FEEL a certain way to begin with and how do you insert a different narrative in their lives and communities to shift what the mission should be and what you offer to achieve that mission that affects their communities.

I think if you focus on that, you’ll probably be led to believe that trade really isn’t that concerning to most of them and they really are only recently interested because of Trumps bizarre actions and once that settles into whatever it’s going to be they’ll probably be better messaged to on what it is that is making them FEEL a certain way, and shifting the narrative with whoever you can shift it with.

No, we just want China to stop cheating in global trade and stealing intellectual property. We want a level playing field.

    Ways China Cheats

    Currency manipulation
    Subsidizing state owned businesses
Dumping of products at low prices abroad
China has VERY HIGH tariffs and trade barriers against US products
China's labor and environmental standards are low

Get ready for 2020-21 style shortages in a month

Not a single international cargo ship at the Port of Seattle. The port is dead. The last ship from China will dock at a West coast port on the 29th, and the last Chinese ship will dock on the East coast around May 10th. After that, there will be no more shipments arriving from China. We’re screwed.

That means trucking and rail capacity will decline as well, leading to problems for domestic goods too. It will take months to bring it back if we ever stop this stupid tariff thing. Remember those COVID supply chain problems? This is Trump's "hold my beer" moment.
