joel comes out at trans and the tomboy looking lead kisses another chick. you will hate it and should not watch. dont watch last of us...not for you.
joel knew he was going to die, but im surprised he never tried to justify killing her doctor-dad. "he was going to kill my daughter...he would have done the same to save you, wouldnt he?" at the least, it might have gotten the others thinking that joel doesnt deserve to die and they might have intervened. sounds like they were about to call the whole mission off before she brought them back. tracking them back to seattle is going to be tough with all that snow covering their tracks, but i hope joels brother joins ellie on a nice revenge mission.
I would have watched tlou if Joel was played by Idris Elba, the show is too racist to actually put a black man as the lead character....
Finally caught episode 2. Holy hell. I was not prepared for that. I haven't played either of the games, so I had no idea what was coming and it shocked the hell out of me they would do away with Pedro Pascal so early in the season (though I guess as others suggested, they could just do a lot of flashbacks). I was already really annoyed with Bella's character in episode 1, after mostly liking her in season 1, so if I have to endure more of the teenagey angst pouty looks WITHOUT Joel to counterbalance...I may not enjoy this season. But the attack on the city was BADASS. Really, really well done. Smart for those townspeople to train their dogs with the same people that trained the attack dogs from John Wick 3.
I haven't seen any of season 2 yet, but I'm hearing lots of negativity towards Bella Ramsey. Can someone fill me in? There didn't seem to be this much backlash during season 1.
im a last of us casual. She is def an annoying character on the show so they will probably hate her until the end of time.
Before she killed Joel, she said, "stupid old man, you don't get to rush this" it looked to me like Joel kind of very slightly nods. In association with the hand-wringing at the shrink, Joel's generally defeated nature, and his contentious relstionship with Ellie, I think they wanted it to make is seem like Joel kind of felt he had it coming and felt like he deserved it.
finished episode 3, and I’m still not over Joel’s death he died not knowing if his friends and family in the community were safe…he died without getting any closure with Ellie…he died by the hands of the person he saved I’m still not sure if Ellie can carry this show, but I do like Dina so far since she’s so ride or die
Probably realistic. Joel is the type that would save the Tinman’s of the world and would still eventually get punished because his “daughter” isn’t pretty enough and look like the character from the game.
To me, this show feels a lot like TWD lately. It just feels so similar that it’s kind of hard to keep them separated in my head.
Man, I watched 1-3 this weekend and DAM!! Pedro getting killed off was not on my bingo card................the attack on the city was awesome, how the dead laid under all the real dead ones was brilliant. What was the deal with the really big zombie that attacked the city who looked like the leader whose Joel`s brother lit up like a Saturday night doobie? I need to re-watch but why were those 2 fighting after 5 years?? I didn't quite get what the riff was? I love this show, but Pedro was my boy
that was a bloater. They are covered in armor. 1st Season had one, episode 5 here’s the scene, although I recommend rewatching with surround sound.
