The “give me Harden over FVV” takes are embarrassing

What are the Rockets lacking the most right now? Shotmaking and playmaking.

 

Jeremy Lin never played this bad in the playoffs as FVV in his Rockets playoff debut.

Nobody missed it. When the argument is “leadership” “coaching” and “culture” over scoring I didn’t see any of that.

“leadership” was bad cause he sucked

“coaching” was bad cause he coached green and amen to suck

“culture” was bad too, players looked shook

4/19 and 3/15 for the guy he’s been coaching

would of been a lot worse if sengun wasn’t dominant in the post.

I get it…. You and others had unrealistic expectations. FVV isn’t our franchise player, he’s just a placeholder while the team gets back into the playoff mix.

Putting everything on FVV is just what irrational fans do.

but none of the young guys would’ve developed playing next to Harden

make that sh*t make sense

if he was here, when all else fails, we’d at least have a devastating Harden-Sengun PnR to rely on in the halfcourt

Everyone knows he’s not the franchise player, why’s he shooting 4/19.

Rockets have no offensive anchor or elite isolation player, yet were still dead last in passes made per game led by unselfish “steady Freddy”

if we were gonna play like an isolation team, the least we could’ve done is get the best isolation player in the game who knows how to run a halfcourt offense

 

If Fred comes back, he can't be the highest paid player on the team... he needs to take sidekick pay.

He's not even worth that. If the Rockets let him walk, what other team would even want Fred? I mean besides crappy teams that are way under the cap and have to sign someone(like we did with him in 2023).
