Rockets DESPERATELY need a player on the team with a popular podcast. It's how media narratives are built these days.

Also Dyson Daniels is so overrated, the reason why he has so many steals is because he gambles for them on defense all the time and it actually costed them the playoffs this year because it because he did it in crunch time, left Tyler Herro open and he hit a dagger 3.

Draymond Green is a parasite, he's definitely not gonna retire any time soon. Even if the Warriors don't want him he'll bandwagon onto a top seeded team so he can pretend like he isn't a bus rider.

There were a lot of playoff series where we kinda “knew” we weren’t going anywhere. This year it’s a freaking wild card. That definitely adds to the excitement

I have been hate watching that 9 part Boston Celtics documentary that Bill Simmons produced for HBO. The social context was interesting and the stories of their wars with Philadelphia were compelling.

I was enjoying this until they started talking ish about the Moses Malone Rockets. I turned that crap off.
I bleed Rockets red and I am still angry about losing to the Celtics in the '80's,

I point this out to say that the Rockets need to tell their story again to the rest of the NBA. You do that by slaying the beast. Kill the Warriors dead.
Start there.

Then shock the world.

 

True greatness starts to show up for big moments. Meaningful games. We will find out a lot about our young stars in this series.
