ClutchFans Game Thread: Warriors @ Rockets 4/20/2025 (Playoffs Round 1, Game 1)

Game 1 is a really important game for the young guys. We need this team to come out and show they are the 2nd seed for a reason. If our guys come out lackadaisical and we go back to GSW its going to be a rough series.

I hope Ime Udoka spends an extra 30 minutes cursing our guys out before the game.

Yeah, it’s disgusting that a lot of the commentary surrounding this series is that the refs will decide this series. The ****ing refs. Not the players.

this is why I stopped watching basketball the past gree years. The refs shouldn’t have anything to do with the outcome.

 

Houston gonna shock the world. Well, California at least.

 

Let's go Rockets! It is about time to get the revenge.

I think our guys will struggle in the first game. Let’s not forget that the opposing team’s key players have been through many playoff runs. However, as the series goes on, the Rockets will gain the advantage. That’s because the Rockets are truly a team that wears their opponents down. We play really tough and exhausting basketball. This physicality might eventually cause our opponents to throw in the towel.

Also, even though our shooters aren’t quite as sharp as the GSW guards, the Rockets are arguably the best offensive rebounding team modern NBA has seen. Plus, we have home court advantage in the early games.

I believe in our young guys

 

Alpi, please don't play for whistles. They literally don't call anything in this playoffs. You'll have to wrestle with Draymond, so wrestle with him. Don't let him get under your skin.

 

Yes, this is not a game to whining to the refs for a call. Play physical and smart.
