Someone needs to put your ass in jail for 48 hours.

 

Perfection is not a realistic expectation for any policy. ICE made a mistake here -- but it was caught and swiftly corrected. The gentleman was released within a 48-hour window. The process worked.

You can see how a mistake like this can came about... Spanish speaking man working in construction in FL/GA... so cut ICE some slack here -- it was an honest mistake. Without rampant illegal immigration, there would have been no reason to suspect this man of any wrongdoing. You HAVE to admit that.

Lol that is very timely as my mother, a pre-school teacher has a "professionals day" of classes and meetings in Springfield today.

Oh and my mom wears a hijab and has an accent with her English. Its fluent but there is an accent. I'm honestly often now worried about my mom being pulled over and having this happen to her. She hasn't gotten her ReallID yet but I'm making sure she takes care of that this this week .Better safe than sorry.

But we have come to a point in this country were we are at "papers please". Its scary especially for people disproportionally affected.

How can you defend something like this? We make a big deal about transgressions that are a fraction of this…this and what is being perpetrated is the greatest challenge to the US constitution in over 100 years. A person can be detained 48-72 hours before being charged.

So we went from Killmore being deported against a ruling, sent off to a gulag in a foreign country and highly likely dead... and now we are expecting perfection from authorities.

So the Democrats claim they would have been happy if Killmore would have been released after 48 hours ... and now that someone was mistakenly detained and released before a 48 hour hold, that is now completely unacceptable. Now due process isn't enough. Perfection is now expected.

All of this is nothing but attempts to dunk on Trump. People get mistakenly arrested all the time and released well within their 'rights' and you fools never say a word about it.

I really don't care about all this dunking on trump and all the stupid **** Democrats or others babble on about. What I do care about is that we do not have politicians trying to fix real problems. They are more worried about the rights of foreigners and criminals, alphabet people, getting in the way of progress, ect ... Meanwhile, China is eating our lunch and leaving us in the dust because we can't come up with solutions that affect everyone. We are becoming more and more divided as a nation and we are on a path of becoming like europe. 50 impotent states who can't do anything.

So no, I am not concerned about the rights of a few when our entire country is a significant risk of falling behind other countries.
