nope, elefsee still winning the league! yassss! glad they purposely left the league of champions to focus on the epl title. the shock loss to fullham would have happened more frequently had they stayed on.
If you didn't see them, check out both of Declan Rice's free kick goals vs Real Madrid today. Holy freakin s***. Both were absolutely world class AND with Roberto Carlos in the stadium. The first one was RC vs France quality.
He's so bad. There's little more frustratng in football to have played so well only to have an inept keeper ruin it. Should be up 2-0 going into the 2nd leg. I'm not mad about having tied on the road in the first game...but I'm mad about why it's a tie. I'll never understand why they don't teach keepers to catch the ball anymore. If you can get your palms to it, you can catch it, especially with the gloves they wear. He keeps putting the ball back into dangerous positions and it keeps costing this team. I think Amorim needs to sit him this weekend and let Bayindir get some minutes. These mistakes cannot continue to go unpunished.
Yes, but watching Newcastle today reminds me of how far we are from anything close to that, they are playing amazing footy. DD
Nothing other than learning Sandro Tonali and Nicolo Fagioli are rats. And that if anything were to come down, it would be very minor as there apparently was no betting on matches. Just some online poker and on other sports. No ban and at worst a 250 euro fine.
Another heartbreaking and underserving exit we'll have to handle. This time the injuries played a huge role, but this roster still needs a major overhaul in summer. Can't handle Goretzka and Kim anymore, both need to go asap, while Bayern now has to move everything they have to sign Wirtz.
I kinda disagree with the "undeserving" part but that's just my feelings on Bayern in general... Some stuff I saw today...
Bayern had all the momentum after the first goal, Müller missed a huge chance, then one stupid corner ping-pongs right in front of Martinez' foot. Other than that, it was probably irregular. fwiw
Honestly didn't see the game. Was watching the Arsenal/Real game with friends and praying for Real to do their thing so my friend would shut the f*** up. Now I have to endure him for at least a few more weeks. My dream at the moment is that United somehow pull our sh** together enough to win the Europa and PSG eliminate Arsenal. It would be a 3rd season in row that United won hardware while Arsenal won nothing. And, of course, being in the Champions League while likely finishing 13th or 14th in the league.
Don't worry, we're talking about Arsenal. They'll find ways to bottle this, even if they advance past the sheiks.
Oh, I know. Arse nal can't do better than 2nd at literally everything they do. It's just that he's my best friend and works for me, so it's a constant noise that is akin to fingernails on a chalkboard. I was hoping it would be over today but it's more I have to deal with for at least 2 more weeks.
Arsenal and Inter are rolling though. I am a hidden Arsenal sympathizer and have suffered long enough. Long live Arteta!
Down 4-2 in the 110th minute of 2nd OT, Man U scores 3 for the most unlikely comeback in European football I have ever seen. WOW ! DD
