Denver has the best player in the world. Who cares that they fired their coach. the system is stil in tact and they have experience. Every team 1-8 is tough for us and tough for everyone except OKC who will have a free ride in the first round. thats what they earned. our best bet was playing the grizzlies or maybe the timberwolves. either way this team is extremely flawed even as a 2nd seed so u can make a case that we're no the favorites in every series

Serious question, are you guys worried about the Warriors?

My only concern is playoff experience. After watching last nights game, Jimmy and Steph are gonna need to drop 30 plus every night to win. I personally do not believe that can do that for 5 games. They are also thin on role players. They're big 3 (Steph, Jimmy, Dray) who are their role players (podz, looney).

Rockets however, lack playoff experience. Our big 3 (Jalen, Sengun, Thompson) our role players (Dillon, Jabari, Tari, FVV). I believe depth is really important in the post season.

In conclusion: I'm not too worried about the first round. Rockets in 6

    Worried about the REFS

IF they let the Rockets Play . . . no worries
They shackle the Rockets. . .its a long series

Only the Refs can beat us

I also worry about how the games will be reffed. I would think the NBA would prefer to see Steph vs. LeBron at some point this playoffs.

Normally I wouldn’t think about refs but I expect with Ime as coach and how defensively aggressive we are, I think our guys are going to do their best to smother Curry and Butler. Ime seems like a “they can’t call a foul every play” type of coach and encourages hard-nosed defense. How the referees decide to call this series will be crucial. Do they let us play on, or do they crack down on aggression?

I fully expect at least one of these games to be called for the warriors (probably a pivotal game). I predict Curry getting visibly frustrated with contact and looking to refs. Warriors fans booing and complaining. We’ll have to overcome that.

I'm worried because of our shooting. we're not a team that can match 3s with other teams let alone the warriors. also jalen has been horrendous against the warriors.

Brutal start times for those of us on the east coast. I hope Minnesota beats LA just so I can watch a game.

Did you see how physical the refs let the warriors be against Edey. I think we will have a hard time generating offense.

This thread is full of copium, ya'll really think Silver wouldn't want the league to see Curry vs Lebron especially when this might be one of Lebron's last years in the playoffs?

If you visit any Wolves social circles they are already dreading the idea of playing the Lakers in round 1 because they know, just like I know, the refs are gonna be all in favor of the other team. If and only when, you have insane shooting, you can overcome the refs but we are not exactly a great shooting team. If refs decide to call every ticky foul they did last night against the Grizzlies, we will not be allowed to play defense.

This is very accurate. Our only chance is to wear those guys down. It really comes down to if the refs let us play bully ball against Curry or not. Jimmy can beat Memphis by himself, but not the Rockets.

It is so obvious, but the league has been getting away with it for years. Hell, they were caught in the Yao playoffs and the only punishment was to Jeff Van Gundy. It is a corrupt league, that only once in a blue moon can a team having an extraordinary series overcome it. LAL vs. Boston is a done deal.

We should bring in Ausar somehow this offseason so we can finally have an "Attack of the Clones" lineup

If you believe it’s a corrupt league, why bother watching? Honestly.

If nothing else it would be high drama for TV and may make us media story and even the odds a bit.
