The Harden era was scuppered by us being beaten by the Warriors. The Amen era starts by us beating the Warriors.
That’s the type of post we don’t tolerate here. GSW struggled to beat Memphis and they didn’t have their head coach. Keep your negative thoughts to yourself. I rebuke that bad energy.
Credit to yhe Warriors for actually making a playoff related move at the trade deadline to be in a situation where they’ll take us likely in five. No Jimmy Butler no Warriors-Rockets. We made zero moves and ultimately that will bite us in the playoffs. We’re still a Butler/Durant/Booker/Zion away from the Finals….but we’re close and hopefully this serves as a good learning experience. As a fan it would have been nice to have made that move this season.
I expect Tari to not be a “playoff” player. His skill of trying harder than everybody is negated in a playoff format as it’s no longer regular season half arsed bball from the opponents. He’ll have to rely on bball iq which he’s been struggling with the second half of the season. He’s been a turnover machine who fouls at the worst times (aka Brooks). He’ll need to settle down and not let the playoff pressure take him down. Butler is a proven playoff performer time and time again and will be a real problem for our inexperienced team.
