Is this the first time in history that higher seeds are underdogs? https://www.sportsbettingdime.com/n...pens-as-heavy-favorite-in-first-round-series/
I hate how this stuff looks aesthetically, and I thought it was a travel in real time, but...technically, I think it's legal. He slides and plants on his left foot as he's gathering, then hops onto his right foot (step #1), then onto his left foot (step #2) before sliding his right foot into position.
Yes, one of those is a planned sports entertainment event with the victor already decided, and the other is WrestleMania.
you can take steps nowadays but can you also stop afterwards without releasing the ball? old school rules were it had to be all one continuous motion
We aint locked up in there with them They locked up in there with us We the two seed Mothertruckers. Lets run those motherfukn old hags off the court. Shock and awe
That was a travel no question. He took an extra step and if that weren’t enough as he tries to gather himself his left foot pivots like 3 times cause he’s off balance and he even lifts his right foot. I’m not even mad about it but he got away with several steps to get that shot off.
If you think it's obvious and he took an extra step, can you break it down for me? If you can explain where I'm getting it wrong, I'd like to know. Also, I do see that he fidgets with his pivot foot during the pump fakes. That part I think is technically a travel, but I'm just referring to the gather + 1/2. And for what it's worth, he's allowed to lift and reposition his right foot as much as he wants in this scenario.
I don't care about the steps. ever since harden and his stepbacks, everyone and their moms are doing it. Shoveling his left pivot foot to regain balance is something they need to call.
In this example video, Harden follows the same sequence of gather left, step right, step left (just toward the basket instead of to the side), and at the very end, the voiceover says the player can "shoot, pass, or come to a stop". So I think Curry was okay not shooting immediately. https://videorulebook.nba.com/archive/legal-play-gather-and-then-takes-2-steps-2/
There is no point arguing about a travel Memphis got hosed on much worse calls. Like bane driving getting a forearm to stomach's by draymond and they called it out of bounds on bane. Or pippen jr not even touching butler and he missed wide open layup. Or the 15 times dry got hammered in paint after offensive rebound. The list goes on and on. Ja drove to basket so many more times than curry and shot 10 less free throws. You can't make this up
somehow OKC gets to avoid both the Laker and the Warriors in the first two rounds... we would have to play them both. Yay.
Curry and Butler shooting 31 free throws tells me all I need to know. The fact that Warriors fans can watch that and say with a straight face that games are rigged against them is too funny man.
i mean that's what they earned by being the best team in the league. denver/clippers in the 2nd round is no joke though. denver is one team that I know that we would lose to and I don't think it would be close so im glad we were able to avoid them.
Denver just fired their FO and Head coach right before the playoffs. The Clippers are fine but let's be real, they aren't beating the OKC. I'd rank the toughest outs as : 1. OKC 2. LAL 3. GSW and if we're lucky we'd have to face all 3... we got cucked finishing 2nd with how everything finished up. Might have been better off ending in the 4/5th seed. OKC has a really easy route to the finals.
The Nuggets have the best player in the world. People are sleeping on them. The Lakers aren’t even good. They have no bigs and can’t get stops. Paper tigers
