    Name of establishment: Pei Wei
Location: Waugh @ Dallas in the CVS shopping center (and other Houston locations)
Type of food: Asian, fast food
    Price: $-$$ (cheap to medium)
    Return factor: High

Rice bowls, noodle bowls, signature dishes, spring rolls and edamame are just a few of the things you'll find at this little Asian Diner right off the corner of Waugh and Dallas in the CVS parking lot. I had the Teriyaki Chicken Rice bowl which came with carrots, onions, one piece of raw broccoli, brown rice and decent sized pieces of white meat chicken all slathered in a mild teriyaki sauce. Everything was fresh and tasted good. If not specified, you'll have your choice of beef, chicken or veggies for your dish. A good deal for the money. The restaurant sports a very nice subdued dining room with an exposed grill/kitchen area. Order at the counter, take your order number (on a big red plastic chip) to your seat and the food is delivered by a runner. They serve soft drinks, a chai tea, a fruit tea, beer and wine. I will be returning to try other dishes!

I've seen that place a few times on my drive to work.

    Always wondered about that place.

I love Pei Wei and recommend the Mandarin Kung Pao and Pei Wei Spicy chicken.

So, there was no Pei wei until it got within 5 miles of your home circle ;).

Pehaps a review of that "new" restaurant "Mc Donald's" will be next. I await with baited.... baited...hmm, well, maybe not.

Pei Wei's are popping up everywhere... they're owned by PF Chang's (it's their "fast food restaurant").

We order out there a lot. I like it but it is no PF Chang's. I can't put my finger on it but the Orange Peel chicken doesn't seem to taste as good at Pei Wei. Plus, they don't offer dumplings, dammit!

That said, the food is good and affordable.

There's one in the Red River HEB shopping center right next to UT. But I'm still very skeptic to try fast food chinese food even if they are owned by PF Changs (which it self is good but still overrated).

I'm up in Dallas now going to school and there's a few around here. I get the Honey Seared chicken everytime, it's real basic, but it's just so good. In fact, I ate Pei Wei tonight just a few hours ago. Definitely reccommended.

China? That's not cost effective... Pei Wei is only a mile or two away...

BTW, did you know we really only have ONE comedian on this BBS... between you and pasox, y'all could afford to take a comedy lesson or two...
