If he's a teenager, he must have joined CF at the tender age of 2 or 3!

At any age someone can think like a narcissistic teenager who believes he knows everything, is never wrong, and could rule the world if only someone would take seriously his 20-page manifesto. Having zero self-awareness is not exclusively a teenage or British thing.

Being British would just mean he also has bad teeth.

Indeed. That pass inside to Jock for a hook shot was very reminiscent of Nash driving under the rim and passing to his big man. Reed is showing some great court vision and passing ability on top of his great shooting. I think with more playing time, he could very possibly be the shooter and point guard that the Rockets need. I hope Ime gives him at least a third or more of FVV's playing time on the court next season.

Reed really just needs a full year of starting minutes.

Yeah, Reed's best with the ball in his hands. Frankly, I was skeptical about him not having the ball handling, defense, and ability to get off...as a "PG"...
    While it's early, I'm seeing a PG...that can bust...
Whether it's with us, or somewhere else he's going to be starting out top eventually.
It helps that we have multiple initiators on O and Amen/ team D to erase disadvantages on defense.(where Reed isn't totally bereft)
Great feel for game (which seems to have slowed down for him).
I was really opposed to this pick, but have seen the light. I've always felt he had a high floor...like 6th man to borderline starter..but, now...again, at minimum....solid starter one day.

Reed wouldn't throw up 19 shots and brick almost all of them in a playoff game.

Ime wasted an entire year for Reed, if he was backup PG all year he would be ready to take more of the load when FVV struggles.

Instead we have a declining FVV and a barely above Rookie Reed......what a wasted year...

Reed wasn’t good most of the year, it’s a typical rookie year for Reed. They need time to adjust to the NBA

And yet some people think he’d have made a difference tonight.

Pretty much anyone other than Jalen or Fred would've made a difference.

I knew it! You Reedos just couldn't help yourselves. You just had to embarrass yourselves with thoughts of putting Reed In a playoff game. Who do you think he is? Devin Carter?

If Fred and Jalen get embarrassed this entire series like they did game 1, I am OK with taking a step back next year trying to develop both Reed and Cam. If it means they lose games at the beginning of the year and barely make the play in thats fine. I just hope Stone doesn't just sit on his hands and not make trades, because he may need to force Ime's hand in developing their top prospects.

Last night we really needed outside shooting. FVV and Jalen were 2-17 from behind the arc. Why not at least TRY Reed Sheppard in the game? Especially when we were down big. Try to give the team a spark, give Reed a spark, and create some accountability for FVV/Jalen's poor play. Missed opportunity by Ime.

It's Ime, he'd rather lose the game than make those kinds of adjustments.

Reed probably wouldn't help us this series. His yip-itis would be crazy. But you can see we ABSOLTUELY need to be developing him for next year and beyond for us to take our team to the next level.

Agree on the development point. I think it's unlikely we win the championship this year, however we are on the right path... and future years are definitely a possibility... So getting the young guys playoff experience now becomes important.
