No it doesn’t. I am specifically talking about constant complaining, slandering, and blaming from a large group of fans. This does not happen to some players. It did not happen to Reed. Did not happen to Lin. Did not happen to Yao.
Can you find the threads and posts that specifically attack Reed or any of the players I mentioned? There is a dramatic difference in the frequency and tone of these posts. And I mentioned large opposition group. You can’t find it with the players I mentioned.
I don’t agree, and reed is also newer. If he sucks next year and year after it will be worse than jalen. Go read that thread.
I have and as I said it is nowhere near the amount or level of hate. I also mentioned Lin and Yao. Some players just get hated less than others.
Look if I assume you actually listen in good faith and disagree sincerely and will agree sincerely when you hear something that might change your mind I'd tell you look at the more cultural negative.clsiks anoit Jalen and his work ethic compared to Reed because he is 1. A person of color(yes this matters still today unfortunately) 2. Doesn't speak in a manner in which a lot of white suburban men(the dominant demo of this message board) associate with "smart" 3. Has some essentric traits like his painted nails If it was just so it on court play, sure , but I haven't seen a single criticism of the basic character traits of Reed like his work ethic like I see with Jalen. But I think that is wishful thinking to believe someone like you will change your mind on this particular manner in good faith.

Go browse the Jalen chapter threads started by mathlooms, there are at least hundreds of post hating on green.
I think there may be two people who care about these things: that Jalen is a person of color, how he speaks, that he paints his nails. Maybe two and one is probably just trolling. I obviously don't care about any of these things and I think no one else does either (except for two people). Everyone else that brings up what Jalen needs to improve should not be lumped in with those people. People bring up clear, well thought out, and statistically-backed examples of things they want Jalen to improve on and get shouted down by the JOFs. There are many in this thread who can't take ANY criticism of Jalen. Criticism either gets shouted down or the fans move the goal posts. If Jalen is playing poorly then they start talking about his improved defense. His defense has improved a lot but he's still not a good defender. Look at any stat and he's in the bottom half of our team with defense. But his "great defense" will get repeated ad nauseum. Again, his defense is improved but he's not a good defender. Criticism does not equal hate.
Do you think people who might have biases like skin color openly in their head say "yes I don't like him as much because of his skin color". These are often subconscious biases. Ask yourself this. Is there any reason for one to assume Reed Sheppard has a better work ethic than Green? Have you seen a single comment by someone questioning his work ethic? You saw it all the time at least in his first two seasons under Silas for Jalen. Today those people who said they don't trust his commitment are less vocal because the dude just played 164 straight games. But there was no reasons based on what we have all seen to suggest Green has issues with commitment to the sport. But why did his commitment and work ethic get challenged and Reed's?
I think you are EXTREMELY disingenuous ya. I don't believe you have ever been interested in actually having a good faith discussion, at least not that i have read (obviously i don't read every post).
You might be the only posters who would believe that then. Do some posters think I'm overly passionate and can be too confrontational? Yes, absolutely and I'll even admit to that. But you might be the first person to question my sincerity.
