Jalen didn’t embarrass himself. He didn’t care about the game or individual results, and neither did Udoka or the Rockets organization. He and everyone that matters feels fine because they understand context.

What I saw yesterday scared the hell out of me. The entire team played poorly but Fred looks completely washed. Jalen pulled a disappearing act. I continue to worry about our back court. Hopefully some rest will revive Jalen. I’m not expecting much from Fred. Hasn’t been able to knock down open shots all year. Everyone will have to be firing on all cylinders to compensate for Fred’s poor play, like we’ve done all season. This isn’t funny anymore. I’m so frustrated with Fred.

Fred could really use the week's rest.

Denver made themselves look better than us. Even if the team didn't care much, getting blown out by 30 while our starters played was complete bs.

Lord help us if Golden State is the matchup. We gotta beat them and the refs. Rockets won't be favored against any team these playoffs outside of Memphis.

this team regularly plays down to its competition AND WAY UP to its competition as well

yesterday, though it's the Nuggets, they had nothing to play for

getting their ass whupped is good for THIS team - a preview of what the playoffs will be like when they don't bring their A game

I think it is more complex than that and the older teams are not that reactionary to rebounding and getting out into the open lane than young defensive teams like that.

You get jumped on some nights and with Amen/Tari they created that habit of doing that frequently now.

In the playoffs 7 out of 10 teams are defensive juggernauts, and we have to see.

I'm sure our defense will be there. I'm much more willing to bet that some star players won't bring their A games. It's going to be a good test and afterward, a clearer roadmap for this team on how to move forward.
