I think it seems a small overpay, but Pitre is a quality player that is entering his prime.

 

He is also the funniest interview in the locker room.

I like how Nick approaches these up-and-coming players, pay them a bit over what they're worth gambling on the fact they will get even better and would have to pay more in a year or so...............not saying a hometown discount but you get them at a fair price hoping they will get even better and demanding more money
