He’s just linking what Matt Miller said; not an insider

The first and second round picks, in some order, should be Oline and DT. I’m waiting until the 3rd for a WR.

1 - OL: Zabel, Banks, Jackson
    1 - DT: Grant , Harmon
2 - OL: Savaiianaea, Milum, Ersery, Mbow
    2 - DT: Sanders, Collins
3 - WR: Noel, K Williams, Bech, Ayomanor

folks understandably are thinking that we lost all 3 of our top WRs last season, but you can’t draft assuming a whole position group will be decimated. Collin’s and Kirk are outstanding at #1 & slot receiver. I’m waiting until next year if you’re wanting to spend a first on a WR.

    https://www.wbrz.com/news/investiga...r-kyren-lacy-dead-faced-court-hearing-monday/

Former LSU wide receiver Kyren Lacy, accused of negligent homicide after a fatal crash near Chackbay late last year, has died. WBRZ Investigative Unit sources said the cause of death was suicide.

A grand jury was set to take up Lacy's case Monday.

Prosecutors say Lacy was driving a car that caused a head-on crash on La. 20 that killed Herman Hall, 78, last December.

State Police had said Lacy was speeding and crossed the center line in a no-passing zone. Other drivers swerved out of the way and one of them hit Hall, police said.

Prosecutors say Lacy left the scene after the crash. In addition to the negligent homicide accusation, he was accused of hit-and-run and reckless operation. He spent less than two hours in the Lafourche Parish jail after being booked.

It's so sad young people have such a short perspective on the future.

He was about to go to prison so that probably affected his perspective.

Yes. But even that can be overcome in time.

I read that he committed suicide earlier today in Houston. Such a tragic turn of events.

I'm not sure if I did something incredibly stupid and unintentionally killed someone that I'd be able to live with myself either.

    Just a sad situation.

Just depends on what you think of Burden/Golden/Higgins etc....

Peronsally I hope Caserio drafts a TE in the 1st if one of the top OL aren't there. (I think one will be) and I'm hoping a difference making WR falls to 2-58. (I think one will) If Caserio needs to trade up using 2026 picks to get one of these 2 positions to get one of these positions then I'm on board.

After the Tunsil trade Caserio has positioned himself well, so that he has the draft capital to trade up/ sit and pick/or trade down if he wishes too.

At some point we just have to trust the FO and Coaches, right?

In my opinion, I think it's an offensive lineman in the 1st round. 2nd round would be either a Tight End or Running Back. I would only consider TE Mason or Arroyo in the 2nd round with Taylor being the top priority. Both Ohio State running backs would be in play as well as Skattebo and Kaleb Johnson. I like the WR's that will be available in the 3rd round, and this will be a prime spot to draft one. The other 3rd rounder can be used on the BPA on defense. With the Defense selection you can go either CB or defensive line.

I think we pick Loveland if available. Otherwise I believe it's Golden/Egbuka/Burden. Although OL is a distinct possibility at 25. However, a DT such as Nolan or Grant might be the pick. In other words, I have no idea who or what they're picking first.

Suicide is awful all the way around.

Awful that this talented kid put himself in a situation where he felt his future was ruined, he had guilt from it, and felt no way out.

Awful for the family of the deceased from the car crash.

Awful for Lacy's family and friends.

    What a sad situation.

The NFL Draft. The first three picks are in and they are below. If the Patriots do not go offensive line, what do you think the most likely selection will be? Under the assumption the Patriots can't find a trading partner to trade back.
    1. Titans QB Cam Ward
    2. Browns WR/CB Travis Hunter
    3. Giants Edge Abdul Carter
    4. Patriots ?

With the depth of this RB class waiting until 3-89 or later would be the way I would go. I would get the best OL or WR in the 2nd. Is say Judkins that much better than several RB's that will be there in the 3rd. If you want a big RB in the 3rd Martinez is a lot like Judkins. Dude's very talented. Caserio could go for a homerun hitter like Brashard Smith or Tuten in the 3rd.
