[NFL] Dallas @ Green Bay

Too early to tell how this game will play out. The Cowboys offense seems to be in high gear. Morgan is already paying dividends by catching a few good catches, including a bomb into GB territory. Terence Newman already gave up a big play on D. Vinny already has some questionable passes that could have gone as TDs or INTs but were incomplete. We still seem to be having trouble in the red zone. Also, Dallas special teams on kick-offs are being manhandled. They have been kind of faked out two kick-offs in a row by a fake handoff reverse on the return that wasn't handed off. GB is getting big yardage on the returns. Given the luck of the Cowboys, the 2nd kick-off return by GB was fumbled forward but recovered by GB to get even more yardage.

Last, I don't see Dallas winning this game because our D is still playing pathetic defense. At this point, I'm not sure I care too much but I'll still watch because it's my team and it's kind of comical in a way. Dallas just isn't very good this year. Our offense is better(at least, our passing game) but our defense is much worse this season. What is one to do? Just hope it turns around I guess or it will be a long season.

 

I am actually enjoying this for the sole reason that Bill is going to blow a gasket on the team afterwards. This has to be one of, if not the, worst defenses in the NFL.

 

The thing that amazes me about this Dallas team so far on the defensive side is the lack of forced turnovers. They maybe have a few INTs but where are the forced fumbles and fumble recoveries. They are absolutely non-existent.

I'm starting to think we bench Testaverde and go with one of our younger QBs to get them experience. Vinny is about as mobile as a sack of horse shoes. It's not like this team is going anywhere fast. I say put in Drew. In fact, I can't believe Vinny is still playing this game when we are down by 21 points.
