Back from a good summer league you mean? When was he ever Steph tho? Don’t get why people call him this. Really doesn’t make sense if you think about it. That’s like saying Herro is cocaine Jordan. Makes no sense lol
These are not stats against slappies. He's for real. And not 20 years old yet. And it's not like he's not making people around him better. If you watch the game you can see the other teams afraid to leave Reed alone. He's already getting some respect from defenses. Very excited.
lol ur a dummy I like Reed, I just think the hype and calling him a good player based on 2-3 games is silly. But more importantly I think @Loneyroy7 (lonely roy) is an idiot
What’s a stan? Sorry I don’t use idiotic juvenile terms. If you’re referring to the 2000 Eminem song “Stan” then that’s lame. Eminem hasn’t been relevant in 15 years. Use a better term.
There is different between "he's shooting bad (now)" and "he's a bad shooter." One is saying how he's playing. The other is saying what kind of player he is. Pretty sure the poster we are talking about was using the first statement to indicate the second. That's a typical misdirection argument.
We even had one moron saying Sheppard had poor shooting mechanics because he had a cold streak to start the season. The anti-Rockets crowd that live to dump on Reed Sheppard aren't bringing their best
you’re not qualified to call anyone anti-rocket you little dummy preempting your lame comeback, you’ll probably say: “Kiddo you you’re not smart enough to talk about basketball. I’ve given you your attention now go away.”
One thing I like about Reed is his commitment to finding the best possible play, he rarely forces shots. He’s almost like a guard version of Sengun. Playing with third stringers can make him look , as their minutes often lack the team-first mentality he embodies. I’m curious to see how the Amen-Reed-Sengun trio would mesh chemistry-wise; I have a feeling they’d complement each other exceptionally well.
Assuming Reed "figures it out" and is a rotation player next year, there is no doubt he'll mesh with Alpi and Amen as both guys are very good at finding perimeter shooters when they are in the paint. Also, defenses adjusting to Reed should open up the lane. The thought of defenses being forced to chase Reed everywhere he goes is exciting. He could average 4-5 assists next season depending on playing time.
It's good that deep down you know your shortcomings so I don't have to point them out. Now run along Spurs fan, the street lights are on.
Sheppard Will be fine. His floor is a very good connective player. His ceiling is an All-Star. It might take a couple more years for him to fill out physically. I want him getting 20 minutes game next year. Im fine with Amen running the point With Jalen, Reed, Sengun Facilitating the offense otherwise.
