This is why I don't watch the MLS after spending most of the weekend watching the English Premier League. It is just bad football (both types).

    ROUGHNECKS WIN! 18-17

Coach must have it out for Nolan Henderson, as he did not start. Anthony Brown wasn't great, as he had a sub-60 passer rating. Henderson came in for the second half and gave the O a spark. Threw a touchdown pass and has a passer rating of over 100.

Defense continues to make strides, as they came up with two crucial interceptions in the third quarter (included a pick-six). However, they made too many critical mistakes on 3rd and 4th down to make the game much more uncomfortable at the end.

Next week is the next home game. Not expecting much attendance.

    Anthony Brown. SMH!

Ducks fans will never forget the Utah game. What a flaming disaster after a 9-1 start.

My prayers were answered when Nolan Henderson started, but he got hurt.

Jalan McClendon looked mostly competent in relief, but the Roughnecks fall 23-16 to Birmingham.

Apart from some awful clock management near the end of the game, Houston gave up a long TD just before halftime. Secondary continues to screw up in key moments. Also not a fan of the running game, but that’s mostly due to poor blocking.

I won’t ever be a fan of this coaching staff until they clean house. They continue to look worse than amateurish in critical scenarios.

    ROUGHNECKS WIN! 27-3

Complete domination of San Antonio on both sides of the ball. Jalan McClendon with another solid outing (22/32, 171 yds, 1 INT) and the offense produced long, scoring drives. Running game was a lot better this week than the last few weeks.

The Roughnecks' D got stops consistently, including a timely pick-six in the fourth quarter. They will have to clean up their tackling.

Had maybe their best first half and then a total collapse. (I mostly missed the 2nd half)

And just fumbled the kick return under 2 minutes. BHam scores.

It was completely on-brand. Offense sputtered in the second-half, and the Stallions' 5th different QB came into the game and carved up the Roughnecks' D late.

A win would've put them in range for the playoffs. Now, they're two games out of the playoffs with three games left.

If this doesn't make them pull the plug on the head coach, nothing will.
