Astros has to lead the league in loading the bases, no? That's back-to-back games where they load up the bases 3 times.
Doesn’t it suck that we have a poster here who hates when Diaz or Chas does well? Like he’d rather they just lose.
Sadly, I wasn't feeling well last night. And I saw Ted Cruz was in attendance. So I went to bed after the 2nd inning. I missed the offensive eruption.
I feel like the Astros should send down Contreras and call up Gordon, Hernandez, or Robertson to have another fresh arm for today’s game, and do that again for tomorrow. I’d call up Hernandez today then send him down for Robertson tomorrow (Gordon started on Wednesday). They’ll be lucky to get 4 innings out of Gusto tonight and will need to find coverage for the 5th-6th innings from Sousa and Okert. That’s a pretty narrow needle to thread. If Gusto gets rocked they could be in a tough spot. With Ort and Whitley on track to come back in the next 10 days they can probably afford to burn thru a couple optionable arms over the next week. Dubin and Trammell can probably be moved to the 60 day IL if they need to call up somebody who’s not on the 40 man like Blubaugh.
I didn't get to watch the game, but was Paul gallant taking the piss saying on 97.5 the torpedo bats were arriving Friday morning or something. Did they use them?
You missed the Astros greatest offensive explosion at home since 2023... because of feelings. Carry on
He was saying that he thought Cruz was going to jinx the Astros like he (seemingly) does other teams that he is in attendance and rooting for, and since the poster was sick he decided to go to sleep. I’m pretty sure it was tongue in cheek.
