People on here are idiots we don’t have to beat the nuggets. People here got spoiled by the way the team succeeded this year and want more. Did they not see What happen to LeBron. Imagine if that happen to one of our core guys, people would be singing a different tune

No other team locked up their seeding this early and not trying to stat pad for awards.

Practice can never replicate games in terms of conditioning and intensity. This is a boneheaded strategy based on fear of getting hurt — every second you’re doing something active you risk getting hurt. You can’t limp into the playoffs thinking guys not being hurt is all you need to do to replicate your regular season success. We just gave 3 potential opponents momentum and most our rotation guys didn’t get the practice of what was as close to elimination playoff games as you can get in a regular season.

im so disappointed in Ime for this strategy.

Might as well have tried to drop into the play in seeds to keep everyone in rhythm?

Lakers and media acting like they accomplished some miraculous feat securing the 3rd seed (from being gifted Luka), meanwhile we've had the 2 seed locked up for a week without future hall of famers and were playing our scrubs last night (which the article doesn't mention) and got "routed" ,and not a peep of recognition from the BSPN. We'll just have to beat everyone in the playoffs to get any respect - LFG!

I agree. With a week’s rest during the play-in we only needed to rest guys with injuries. The games would have been great warm-up games for the playoffs. Last thing we need to do is be rusty in our first home playoff game, probably against Golden State or the Clippers.

You're absolutely correct, fear won't lead to success. These games were the final opportunities for our players to challenge themselves and adapt to strategies designed to counter their strengths. I'm not suggesting all starters needed 35+ minutes, but they should have played at least 20 minutes of competitive action before handing it over to the third stringers. With a week long break before the playoffs, I hope our starters stay sharp and don't lose their edge.

Sorry, I don’t understand what you mean. We started resting once we locked in 2nd seed.

In a 3-way tiebreaker that the TWolves, Clippers and Warriors end on 49-33 (i.e. a Warriors win), and assuming the Nuggets beat the Rockets

    - TWolves are 3-0 against the Clippers and 1-3 against the Warriors (overall 4-3)
    - Clippers are 0-3 against the TWolves and 3-1 against the Warriors (overall 3-4)
    - Warriors are 3-1 against the TWolves and 1-3 against the Clippers (overall 4-4)

Which would result in the TWolves being the 5th seed, the Warriors 6th seed and Clippers 7th seed.

If the Nuggets lose to the Rockets and also end up on 49-33.

    - Nuggets are 0-4 against the TWolves, 2-2 against the Clippers and 2-1 against the Warriors (overall 4-7)
    - TWolves are 4-3 (above) + 4-0 against the Nuggets (overall 8-3)
    - Clippers are 3-4 (above) + 2-2 against the Nuggets (overall 5-6)
    - Warriors are 4-4 (above) + 1-2 against the Nuggets (overall 5-6)

Which makes TWolves the 4th seed, Clippers the 5th seed (better division record), Warriors the 6th seed (worse division record), and then the Nuggets the 7th seed.

I don't even want to calculate what would happen with a TWolves loss against the Jazz

I will take my chances with the Nuggets over the Clippers.

What I’m understanding is that if the Warriors beat the Clippers tomorrow, they will face the Lakers in the 1st round of the playoffs. If they lose, they will be in the play in and assuming they win that game, will face the Rockets in the 1st round!
