LOL, no. Biden's inflation bankrupted the working class and they fought back by electing Trump. Inflation ravaged their spending power. Foreign countries trampled all over us. Adversaries launched wars because they didn't respect Biden. Trump is standing up the the international abusers of our working class and resetting the table in our favor and in the American workers' favor. He's the first President with the stones to actually take a stand against the globalists. He's the first one with the courage to say no to Spend more/Tax more/Inflate more -- a policy that just kills the working class. Trump is bringing investment to the USA. He's brought down inflation. He's brought down mortgage rates. He's in the process of improving trade deals. He's ending wars. He's cutting waste, fraud, and abuse in government to help shrink our deficit. He's ending taxes on tips, overtime, and on people making <$150k/year. He's delivering on promises for the good of our nation. GOOD DAY
Your disinformation doesnt work here and you know that. Trump added more congressionally approved debt than Biden and this was before covid. Trump has installed a amazon union busting lawyer as head of the NLRB. The NLRB is the only agency in the country that can recognize a union and settles disputes between employee vs employer. Installing a union busting NLRB Trump has declared war on the working class as employers will get away with more disputes now than ever before. https://prospect.org/labor/2025-03-17-trump-pick-union-busting-attorney-key-labor-law-position-nlrb/ Mortgage rates on a 30 year are above 7%. When the election happened they were at 6.5%. Mortgage rates are higher today than before the elction. Hes not cutting fraud from the government when he eliminates the CFPB which is the only agency that has the power to go after financial instutions if they defraud consumers. The CFPB recovered more than 5 billion in fraud last year alone and returned that money to Americans. Trump has enabled fraud. Trump has installed a lobbiyst as head of OSHA who will look away as workers get abused. This is not fighting fraud. This is enabling fraud. Major law firms are licking their chops at the idea of being able to screw workers https://www.goldbergsegalla.com/new...dge/anticipated-regulatory-changes-with-osha/ You are a moron Good day
Is that what those self help guru grifters talk about with affirmations and just repeating them over and over in front of a mirror to believe in yourself? "Trump has a beautiful giant radiant penis" "Trump has a beautiful giant radiant penis" "Trump has a beautiful giant radiant penis" "Trump has a beautiful giant radiant penis" "Trump has a beautiful giant radiant penis" "Trump has a beautiful giant radiant penis" "Trump has a beautiful giant radiant penis" "Trump has a beautiful giant radiant penis" Is that what you do in front of a mirror?
We still have the best economy in the world, by far. The problem isn’t revitalizing our economy. The problem is that everything is funneled to the top. The wealth gap is crushing the poor and middle class. Somehow MAGA has convinced people that they need to give tax cuts to the wealthy and implement tariffs that are a regressive tax on the poor. It’s insanity. United States: $30.34 trillion China: $19.53 trillion Germany: $4.92 trillion Japan: $4.39 trillion India: $4.27 trillion United Kingdom: $3.73 trillion France: $3.28 trillion Italy: $2.46 trillion Canada: $2.33 trillion Brazil: $2.31 trillion
Don't know why Reed isn't dominating the ball with no other real ball handlers on the court right now. Cam should limit his dribbles to like 3.
You're probably right except Trump also hates losing face esp to China. So if giving up Taiwan can be framed in a way that does not lose face then I think it's a done deal
I have heard from multiple sources that US manufacturers currently have job openings that they can not fill. This makes some sense in that the US economy has been running at almost full employment the last few years. Trump's big "thought" is that he wants to re-shore manufacturing jobs. The reality is that Trump wants more job openings, not necessarily more jobs. Trump is the ever stable genius. The whole "more job opening than people to fill them" seems a bit of a contradiction. There are certainly small towns in the US that are in economic crisis, i.e. these open manufacturing jobs are not near them ... or maybe ... these are tough jobs that they do not want or can not perform. I know that auto manufacturing jobs can be physically tough and have three shifts per day (two of which are not 9-5). The question begs why is Trump picking a fight with our trade partners ... to get more job openings. The simplest explanation is that he can. Trump can unilaterally raise tariffs, even if he does not understand how they actually work. Trump expects countries to approach him "with tears in their eyes, saying sir". This makes Trump feel like "the Great and Powerful Wizard of Oz". Trump benefits from this but not the country in general. I have also heard that the current tariffs will cost the average US household between $3700 and $4700 per annum, depending on where the Mad King Don sets the tariffs. This shows the lie that China will pay for the tariffs. The average US household may not have an extra $300+ a month in their budget to pay for Trump's tariff follies, so they are just going to have to live without some everyday items. The US voters were not happy with the cost of everyday items and punished Biden/Harris and the Ds in the 2024 elections. This is really shaping up to be a real R blood bath in the 2026 elections, especially if the Mad King Don drives the US (and the global economies with it) into a deep recession. Caravans of Trans Mexicans entering the southern border will not be save the Rs this time.
When you watch a "Cabinet meeting" with Trump and friends around a giant table and see a group of people who want to pretend they are doing important work, what you explain in this sentence is shown so blatantly in these meetings. You have Trump going around the table and hearing 'important updates" about how autism's origins will be discovered in 3 months or how we will discover who killed JFK or Musk giving an update on how we are going to save 150 billion through Doge. It's so superficial. It's so... Fake. Tarrifs are a method to show his base he's "deal making". That he's doing "important work". It's pure window dressing expect the window dressing actually can collapse the global economy. American MaGA base believes negotiations on international trade are like 'The Apprentice' were trivial things like trying to make Xi Jinping call first has any value. These people don't understand how in real life, when two head of states talk, all the underlying negotiations are already done because things as complex as international trade are too complex to be settled through sleezy used car salesman tricks. You are right. Trump is addicted to this tarrifs thing precisely because it's something he has control over that he can show his base that he is "deal making" with even though it will do nothing to improve the lives of the maga base. It's simply a toy he has access to that gives him an opportunity to show people his "deal making". It's very child like.
Smartphones and computers will be exempted from President Donald Trump’s reciprocal tariffs, according to new guidance from U.S. Customs and Border Protection. The guidance comes after Trump earlier this month imposed 125% tariffs on products from China, a move that was poised to take a toll on tech companies like Apple, which makes iPhones and most of its other products in China. The new tariff guidance also includes exclusions for other electronic devices and components, including semiconductors, solar cells, flat panel TV displays, flash drives, memory cards and solid-state drives used for storing data. If his universal tariffs are so great like he claims 24/7, how come he’s always pausing them, rolling them back, or giving out exemptions?
It would take decades for American manufacturing to reach a level where we wouldn’t see a drop off in standard of living.
Man, I didn't think you were a troll like others said, but this was 5D level chess troll - I mean you described Trump to a T! : "The same people who are declaring defeat by only looking at short term losses without factoring in in the long term benefits -- are probably the same people who can't invest in their health prudently, in their children's upbringing, or in the stock market. They struggle with postponing gratification.." The roll back on the China tariffs this morning was the ! on this. I mean the problem with bluffing is you have to do it - and China has called his bluff....he just rolled back so much of his leverage on the 90 day pause lol. We'll see a bunch of token deals and self proclaimed victory at the cost of US credibility/reputation.
China---Calling Trump’s Policies a ‘Joke’---Raises Tariffs on U.S. Imports to 125%, which may have led to this recent development this morning Trump administration quietly excludes many electronics from 'reciprocal' tariffs, exempting smartphones, computers and other electronics from its so-called reciprocal tariffs, Bloomberg reported Saturday, giving tech shoppers and companies like Samsung and Apple a reprieve from much higher costs:
HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!! Announcing tariffs and immediately folding is “taking a stand”!! Go Trump! Begging Xi for a phone call is “standing up to international abusers”!!! Make America Bend Over Again! Rescinding tariffs for iPhones, computers and all manner of electronics on a Saturday morning!!! What a power move!!! Xi is shaking in his boots, just like @CrixusTheUndefeatedGaul i mean the General Thade said!! If Trump keeps “taking a stand”, by Wednesday, he will ask England if we can go back to being their colonies. He’s delivering self-own and embarrassment on the international stage like no other. You guys really are suckers and losers.
https://www.npr.org/2025/04/12/nx-s...s that will, involvement in the fentanyl trade. Smartphones and computers are now spared from Trump's reciprocal tariffs That is probably 30-40% of the Chinese imports to the US, talking about jokes.
You can give Trump one thing; he will always consistently make his diehards look even dumber, without fail. Imagine throwing a tantrum that everyone else doesn't understand tariffs (when really you're just upset people are being mean to your BFFs Trump and Musk), only for it become immediately clear that Trump's billionaire buddies and other officials drummed up enough concern that he was burning **** to the ground that he's now trying to find ways to walk things back and still make it seem that he's being 'tough'. The only real question is whether trump's general ignorance and massive narcissism will allow him to stop from stumbling over his own feet. Rest assured though, whatever he decides: his cult will try to figure out how to defend it, then find a way to defend the reversal a few weeks later.
Seems like that's most of what we import. Trump trusts the stock market which is showing him how destructive a trade war is. Globalization is part of human evolution.
Because as soon as they defend one of this stupid things, he goes the other direction and reverses it. then they have to now defend the reversing...then he flips again. Tariffs - Yes!! Genius. Pause - Yes!! Genius. Exceptions during the pause - Yes! Genius.
