Hard disagree at least for this situation Kings and mavericks are within a few games This is not like the 8th seed is a 50 win team and they have a chance to be knocked off by a 30 win squad . I do like the idea of top seeds being able to pick matchups tho
I'm not a fan of the play-in. The line between in and out has to be drawn some place. That said, don't want a chance to get knocked out by the Kings or Mavericks, win some more regular season games. I don't see a big difference in why East is fine and West isn't.
If an opponent putting something up on a bulletin board is enough for them to beat you, you deserve to be beat.
