Netflix has premiered the seventh season trailer for Charlie Brooker’s highly acclaimed sci-fi anthology series “Black Mirror” with the show officially set to return on April 10th. The headliner of the six-episode run is a sequel to the fourth season’s famed episode “USS Callister” which satirises “Star Trek” and male abuse of authority along with boasting more outright comedy and VFX than usual. It marks the first “Black Mirror” episode to get a direct sequel, though this season reportedly also sees Will Poulter reprising his “Bandersnatch” role of Colin Ritman – a character with awareness of alternate timelines and realities. The new season’s cast includes: Awkwafina, Milanka Brooks, Peter Capaldi, Emma Corrin, Patsy Ferran, Paul Giamatti, Lewis Gribben, Osy Ikhile, Rashida Jones, Siena Kelly, Billy Magnussen, Rosy McEwen, Cristin Milioti, Chris O’Dowd, Issa Rae, Paul G. Raymond, Tracee Ellis Ross, Jimmi Simpson, and Harriet Walter Also onboard are Poulter, Asim Chaudhry, Michele Austin, Ben Bailey Smith, Josh Finan, James Nelson-Joyce, Jay Simpson and Michael Workéyè. Further details about the episodes are under wraps for now. The series is created and executive produced by Brooker through his Broke & Bones production company. Jessica Rhoades and Annabel Jones also executive produce. https://www.darkhorizons.com/black-mirror-season-7-official-trailer/
Hopefully not another season filled with [insert device you stick on your head and places you in dream world]
I feel you. Ironically that is one of the single best episodes of television ever in my opinion is San Jurnipo which revolved around that concept. But it was done and you can't really top the quality of that one.
I barely remember too. I dont think i could even finish the Miley Cyrus one. There was the kidnapping tech guru one played by i think the 70's show actor that may have even been the previous season though. There was a Salma Hayek one that was forgettable too.
Oh, I remember now. I liked the Jon Hamm one too, because I like Jon Hamm There was the Star Trek one too, right?
Yeah...they nailed the whole VR and Are We in a Simulation thing a decade ago. Severance feels like an extended black mirror spinoff.
The other stuff where you can put yourself in a server and preserve your memories and 'soul'. San Junipero.
Wow Spoiler the first episode feels like Clutchfans subscription system with the ads and if you pay more, you don't see the ads.
