I still don't understand why Jalen played at all last night. yes I get his consecutive games streak, but if that were the case, have him play for a possession and then that's it. He still played 15 minutes, and then came out at the halftime in street clothes. Very weird.
I don't think I've ever seen a player change midway through a game. Like...for me, if Jalen is gonna play, I'd prefer him to at least play 25 minutes and get some sort of reps in some way (and yes I know there's a risk of injury, but I'm not tuning in to watch Nate Williams). And it didn't really seem like he was playing very hard either. Just a bizarre game imo

Having him play for one possession would be as bad as letting KPJ get the last rebound (same as Sura missing a shot on purpose in the early 2000s) so he would have his t-dub. (It was rescinded afterwards. Was it in 2021?) Blatant, shameless cheating.

The consecutive game streak isn't nothing, but it also doesn't really matter. I'm totally with you on this, it feels like he's sleepwalking out there too. I'm expecting him to play better in the last game, since we'll be using it as a tune-up for the playoffs (I assume)
