At least Taylor Scott isn’t pitching/imploding today.

 

Yeah, it might be personal. He seems to have Chas buried deep on the bench, just a late inning defensive replacement. Hard to get hot when you start once a week, if that.

 

I’m not saying it’s personal with Joe. I have noticed that Chas is working counts longer and seems overall ok at the plate in just his 15 or so plate appearances this season. It’s too small a sample to really tell anything. I just think he will continue to get sporadic at bats as an Astro.

The idea that Dusty helped him by benching him, even against LHP’s, when he was red hot in 2023, is asinine.

 

Dubon getting a start in the outfield over Chas or any other OF is bs and Chas is one of our better hitters so far

 

Astros averaging 2.91 runs per game. Worst in the AL.

 

Diaz getting a day off makes me think someone's had a talk with Espada about his lineup.

 

Walker has struck out twice in each of the last 4 games and already has 1 today.
