You're crazy... dislike him as much as you want, he's taken a step forward this season. Far from a bust.
Done what exactly is my point? That’s all subjective. none of those players are great. Good not great. Merely citing statistics or metrics is surface analysis. Statistics don’t always tell the full story. Barnes is slow. Cant shoot. He isn’t taking people off the dribble. But has always played a pt forward role. He has good handles and has the ball in his hands a lot on the break. He helps set up the half court set. Barnes gets more front court touches than Jalen since he plays this PG role often. Barnes touches: 36.9 overall Green touches: 26.0 overall 25.8 OCT-MAR 26.7 MAR-APR MAR 4.5 asst APR 4.0 asst Seems to be a correlation as Green’s touches go up. Banchero might be benched if he plays for Ime. Little to no effort on the defensive end. Offense isn’t the end all be all. Plays soft. Lazy running back. I saw this up close and personal. Mobley solid player what else? Is he some dominant big tearing up the league? your statement was these teams wont trade these players. That’s subjective. You don’t know that. And their level of play doesn’t merit that statement. I wouldn’t want any of those guys. Im not looking at greener grass on the other side
To be fair to Paolo, he did put up 27/8/4 in the playoffs last season on 55.4% TS at age 21. Of course he had a lost season this year because he got injured, but i think he'll have a very strong year 4.
Just the right amount of good to where we should be able to re-sign all of them to their second contracts and fit them all under the cap. I don’t know why people keep clamoring for a superstar in trade, because that just means we won’t be able to afford Jabari or Tari in a couple years. It works out perfectly that our third top pick (Amen) will be the one we give the no doubt max contract to.
Just wondering if you actually meant to say this and weren't under the influence, held at gunpoint, etc.
Did he specifically say he drafted him only because he was Green’s friend? I would think GM’s do this because they see a certain chemistry and potential and believe it could work. Some of them bring in homegrown players or relationships with past coaches or players etc.
Troll, just because Mobley was the right pick and is clearly a better player right now doesn’t take anything away from Jalen. Jalen has proven he’s a starting caliber SG for a top team. I wouldn’t be surprised at all if he’s an All Star next year
I disagree with you on Mobley. there are only 3 players who do what he does in the NBA. Chet, JJJ, Wemby These guys all dominate at rim protection, are able to slide their feet to keep up with guards outside the paint and shoot 3s respectably. These guys are all unicorns and for good reason. Would love anyone of these guys on our current team
Very true but Green is having his first quality season of his career. If he continues to improve the pick will be a hit even if he's not the best player they could have picked with it
