BS. I'm actually worried Ishbia becomes a new rule like Stepien.

That works out well, because we don't want to give them back.

We should go after both Giannis and KD

Giannis for Sengun, Cam, and 5 FRPs (including 27 HOU or BKN and 29 DAL&PHX)
KD for FVV, Landale and 2 PHX FRPs (2025 & 2027)

We start Amen, Green, Tari, KD, Giannis with Reed, Holiday, DB, Bari, Adams off the bench. Get a couple of bench scorers/shooters with MLE/BAE and we can compete with anyone.

The closer you get to 65 Wins, the more cautious those guys will be towards trades and adjustments.

    bring Beard back home

we’ve got a good job and live in a nice neighborhood now, it’s time to upgrade from the used 2005 Toyota Camry that is FVV…the Camry was ok back when we were broke living in an apartment with 4 roommates surviving off ramen

Yes to the FVV point, no to the Beard.

In that list the only player worth it imo is Greek Freak. He checks the timeline AND the defensive culture boxes. The others check one or one at all.

So Greek Freak or... restock the same archetypes via the draft, keep that pipeline flowing.

Agree on Amen. As much as I love Sengun, I don’t consider him untouchable. Would trade him for a very small group of current / future superstars. I have Giannis in that group.

Amen and Alp would only be up for trade for Jokic or SGA.
    Giannis isn’t in that group

Gianus isn't known as a locker room diva for his stature but we might need to open a spot for his bro.

What would it take to get Luka? Not everyone likes LA.

I voted for "trade for roleplayers".

The only one of the other options that really tempts me is trading for Giannis, if he becomes available (big "if"). He is still an MVP-contender level player, he fell down the ladder as the season went on due to the Bucks' lack of success, but he was getting buzz early on. It's possible he has a few more years of this level of play left in him, though his injury history lately is concerning.

The other problem is I don't really see the fit between him, Amen, and Sengun, and probably one of those two would have to go out in the trade for him anyway, and I'm hesitant to give either of those guys up at this point.

I think if you traded for Giannis it's a clear "championship window is now" move. Maybe if you could swing a trade for him and a trade for KD, while still holding onto Amen, I could see it. Would be a real shame to trade Sengun, but I don't think I'd be shopping at Firestone over it, depending on what those trades looked like in reality?

Overall, I don't see the need to push for anything. I'm more just waiting to see if an Ant Edwards, Tyrese Haliburton, somebody like that becomes available at some point. I feel like we have a long window ahead of us and we should mostly avoid making impatient trades that send away members of the young core.
