Great game, CU. Hard to believe A&M is now bowl eligible after today...who would have thought that at the beginning of the season?
that was one of the most fun games ive had at Kyle! the last play was wild. We didnt play our best game but i gotta hand it to Colorado they played damn well
Nothing really. The CU team refused to leave the field after the game. Both teams were just kind of standing there on the field looking at each other. CU walked off the field a little over fve minutes after the game ended. Wouldn't call it a brawl. We were lucky to pull out this game: Reggie looked bad for the first time since we played Utah. Statistically he had a good game, but many of his passes were way off. He wasn't running the ball well. He had several huge holes in the game that he didn't exploit, and, at least in the first half, had problems finding holes when he did decide to run the ball. The offense dropped several balls. Receivers managed to drop four or five passes where Reggie's pass hit the receiver in the hands. If it hits you in the hands, you've got to catch it. The defense had a lot of missed tackles. For some reason they were trying to tackle people by grabbing them up around the shoulders. Pegram managed to make all of his kicks, including one that he had to redo for a penalty. He's been terrible in the past, so seeing him kick the ball right down the middle was a good thing. I'm glad to see him doing well so far this season. CU deciding to go for that two point conversion and not getting it was obviously huge. I understand their reasoning for trying it, but personally wouldn't have done it if I'd been in that situation. The refs did everything to give this game to CU, who was getting all the calls. Calls made in the favor of A&M by the ref in the position to make the call were overturned at least twice, including a touchdown being called back in the overtime period. The ref that was standing basically over the play called it a touchdown, then was overruled by someone across the field. During the last play before we kicked in the overtime period they called offensive pass interference on a player who was on the complete other side of the field from where the ball was thrown. I've never seen pass interference called away from the ball. CU fumbling the ball in overtime was also obviously huge. They were running all over us and most likely would have won the game with a touchdown if they didn't fumble there.
well an "autistic chimp" has been considered an upgrade to greg davis on some message boards so i'd say your guy has a little work to do. your guy has been holding back whoever it is you guys have, but greg has managed to hold back people like roy williams. now that's "special."
Gosh, really? I guess that's a good thing when a QB runs 144 yards on 20 carries and its considered a bad running day.
I know, I was amazed when I got home and looked at the stats. On the field though he wasn't looking that good. Don't think that I'm limiting my analysis to this, but I don't remember the last game when he didn't rush for a touchdown.
